Iberostar Selection Paraiso Lindo

This is one of my favourite Iberostar locations. Food: Great food. I am celiac and they have a great offering of gluten free options and knowledgeable staff. Rooms: Newly renovated and are beautiful. AC gets nice and cold. Lots of space. Beds are a bit small. Grounds: absolutely stunning! I dont think I could say one bad thing about this property! Will be back.

Check in was not acceptable be careful when you book your room if you have a boy and a girl over 10 years old you get x2 double beds ok if your children are of younger ages but otherwise not good and to get a suitable family room they wanted a extra £400 which in other countries if they had a better room only expensive they will complimentary upgrade you for free such as countries like Egypt,turkey or Tunisia this was all about wanting extra money unfortunately eventually we did get a camp bed for the room which was decent and comfortable. The complex is amazing lazy river,wave pool and water park pools are lovely big and plenty of room for everyone swim up bar is so nice lots of lovely drinks to choose from on the menu: Rooms cleaned to a great standard everyday. The food was amazing you won’t be disappointed lots of nice options available lovely drinks menu again available. Lots of cute monkeys iguanas and other cute animals roaming around all in all it’s a wonderful place to go to. The star cafe is better than Costa or Starbucks the Tapynaki restaurant was absolutely fantastic infact we went twice during our 2 week stay was a highlight of our stay the burger bar was great over the road jump on the caddy they will take you and bring you back the crepe shop is lovely too and the churro shop wonderful addition to this place so many food options to choose from you can’t be disappointed thanks for a great stay shame about the room at check in and the rude staff that got it if to a bad start everything after that was wonderful. Part of the all inclusive is 1 hour each day of paddle boarding canoes or small catamaran including your life jacket is included beach is nice has some food such as hot dogs fries burgers chicken nuggets salad sauces nice drinks also available at the beach bar.

Brilliant holiday with my husband and 13 year old. Daytime entertainment - was great for all of us, plenty to get involved with or people watch which at time was just as entertaining. Pools - loads to pick from buy we based ourselves at the main pool as it was near our room. Near pool room - defo recommend so it's convenient as the complex is large, we were in block 52 next to the main pool, clubhouse, towel and bar Iberostar App - perfect to you know whats going, can book your restaurants, know when your rooms been cleaned, book a golf cart to help with luggage, just makes life easier. Slides, wave pool and lazy - I mean what's not to love! Foam Party also a big hit. Nice to have music playing everyday giving great vibes as well as having occasional live bands. Specialist restaurants - are a nice change to just the buffet so great for variety. 1 big plus was no early getup to get beds round the pool. We got up between 0830-0930 and got the same front row beds with parasol everyday for 12 daya pretty much. Beds could get grabbed easy after 10 but might be slightly away from.the main pool but no sunbeds wars and we were there 12th-25th Aug. Coffee shop - was better than Starbucks my 13 year old said, fave was Caramel Frappe. Evening entertainment- good all round for young and old, some a bit young for our 13 year old so we went playing Uno/cards some nights Drinks - IMO were singles unlike in Europe were they pour doubles or triples, certainly in the evenings on all inclusive. Beer however was lovely as the one on tap. Happy for you to bring your own cups too save multiple trips. Loved not having a key/key card as it was attached to our wristbands so we all had a key to get in the room. Beach - was lovely but the seaweed is a problem, not the hotels fault as the tractor is back and forth picking it up almost daily but a problem all over Mexico. Floaties - don't bother buying them at the shop, nip the clubhouse and ask if you can use them, they have loads of spares for free and you can take them for a few hours and pop back with them, just giving your room number. Same with volley balls and catch. Entertainment team need a huge shout out as they work very long hours and always smiling, big shout to Franco whose hips are always moving! Also Jesus behind the bar! Finally animals - there's lots of wildlife walking around from spider monkeys, coaties, peacocks, iguanas and more. Warning the coaties are very much walking about and won't think twice about going through your pool bag looking for food. At first it seems odd they just roam free but after a few days it just becomes the norm. Great little extra watching their funny ways. Only 1 thing to point out is the shops on site massively inflated prices for provisions if you forget or run out. Eg 10 Tampax $15 USD and a box or pringles $11 USD so maybe pack a few extras. All in all, we had a great holiday that ticked loads of our boxes and it certainly didn't disappoint 😀

I went on vacation to Iberostar Selecrion Paraiso Maya Suites with just myself and my two daughters (7 & 4) and they absolutely loved Star Camp! Every day there were new fun activities all day long. They went in the mornings, then again we watched the show in the theater and they always had fun games with the kids to join on stage, dancing playing and being silly. They are well organized with live updates in WhatsApp so you can always be in touch with the coordinators too. Highly recommend, especially good for parents! ;)

We loved it so much! Amazing staff and the flexibility is great. You can message them and join anytime. We loved it!
