Royalton CHIC Suites Cancun Resort & Spa

Very good hotel and location. Views from both sides are great. Rooms are good sizes. Not good for disabled people as no lift to the pool area. Some issues with electrics in three rooms we had. Curtains are too small. You can use the clips on hangers there to clip the middle together. Rooms doors can be noisy with draft when the wind picks up. So not great sleep. The lifts can be problematic as many complained. You can go down a floor to go up. Sunbeds go very early. Beware of some staff in the top floor concession. We were treated badly by the manager who told us different prices. Drinks are not included up there and there's a lack of clarity that came across as or was discrimination. Shame as this is a good hotel with some great employees. Just meant we spent less and went elsewhere. Suggestion to the hotel is list the prices and be open and honest.

Had a fantastic week staying here at the Royalton Chic, Cancun. I was a little apprehensive having had an average experience at a different Royalton resort in the Caribbean. The diamond club was a nice addition, largely for the quieter pool and area of the beach and also to have access to the butlers, who would literally help with anything required, for us we only required help with booking restaurants and ensuring sun beds were reserved for us. We had Rosa and Monse who were both fantastic, charming and approachable at all times! Hugo at the pool bar was great too, along with one of the bar servers Jasmine (I think her name was). We met so many great people, largely Canadians, who we don’t mind sharing the resort with ;-) Traveling as a couple we met other couples of all ages, solo travellers, it was a great mix of people. There are quiet spots too. One of the best 7 night resort style holidays I have done and would definitely consider returning soon. We chose a private transfer from the airport (not pre-booked), they want $85, but we managed to get them down to $50, the reverse journey from the hotel, organised by the bellboy was around $30-35. Theres a nice small bar just down the road called los amigos, turn right out front entrance and head towards the strip and it’s the 1st bar on the right, friendly team and the menu was great with authentic flavours and plates…highly recommend if you want to get off site but don’t want to venture onto the strip. If I was having to be super picky, the coffee shop was slow on service. I also didn’t like the alternating of the late night venue from floor 3 to top floor.

Celebrated my birthday in Cancun with my girls, and the Royalton Chic made it incredibly special! From the moment we arrived, the staff were kind, welcoming, and very helpful. I booked a one-bedroom Presidential Suite with a butler, and as Diamond Club members we had a separate check-in experience. We were seated in the Diamond Club lounge where we enjoyed drinks and appetizers while waiting less than five minutes to be checked in. With the help of the amazing staff, I was also able to upgrade my room at a great price. Hazara at the front desk was fantastic. Jessie even came back with glasses of champagne for my girls and me while we discussed our plans around the resort. We then met our daytime butler, Estefania, who assisted us from 7 AM to 3 PM and showed us to our beautiful suite. From 3 PM to 11 PM, our evening butler Daniel took over. Both butlers were exceptional and made sure all of our needs were met. They even went out of their way to find us at the beach cabanas and rooftop just to make sure everything was perfect. Their service truly went above and beyond. The resort itself is stunning with beautiful views, and the hospitality from the entire staff was outstanding. If you’re visiting Cancun, you absolutely must book a stay at Royalton Chic Cancun. I will definitely be back!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had such a great stay! The Diamond Club was absolutely worth it and really elevated the whole experience. Sandra, our butler, was amazing and made sure we had everything we needed the entire time. Her service truly stood out. The resort is also really close to off-resort shopping, which made it easy to explore a little outside the property. Our room had an incredible ocean view, and the room itself was very spacious. The shower was amazing after a long day in the sun. We also treated ourselves to a couples massage and it was fantastic,definitely recommend! The pool was great, the rooftop cabanas were wonderful for relaxing, and everyone we encountered was so kind and welcoming. The only thing that was just okay was the food, but overall the experience, service, and atmosphere made this an easy 5-star stay for us. We would definitely come back!

Big shout out to the Vibe Team (Alexander, Diego, Marco, Joss, Martin, Stevan) they are all super energetic, friendly, coming up with creative activities and games. Highly recommend for a no-stress fun time :)
