Excellent, Excellent, Excellent This hotel and staff are absolutely amazing. My friend and I have travelled extensively over the years and the staff here are the best we've ever encountered. The animation team are incredible, fun and extremly hardworking. Alejandro and the girl who did the aqua aerobics were amazing. The manager of this team was also brilliant and very friendly. Food was excellent and there was always something different in the main restaurant every day, never repetitive. Dyana in reception greeted us with a beautiful smile and was always so helpful and happy. This hotel is extremely clean and the cleaners in our room and the surrounding areas of the hotel were spotless. Barman Azael was supurb, always so happy and served the best cocktails 🍸 👌 as was Andrea the lady who worked with him in the lounge bar. We never had 2 wait long 2 get served and it was always service with a smile. Coffee shop was a really lovely touch with gorgeous cakes and amazing drinks. The evening entertainment was extremely good and sometimes the shows were like a westend performance. All in all 1 of the best places we have ever stayed from the wonderful friendly staff through to the amazing conscientious cleaners. Would definitely recommended this perfect hotel.

The hotel was situated perfectly along the coast in playa del carmen, it was lovely, room always kept clean & most staff usually really happy to help, the poop was a bit dirty a few of the days & began to smell, not sure why... azael (sorry if i butchered your name) at the main plaza bar was an absolute treat, always welcomed us with a smile and happy to make us our cocktails. The staff here work so hard and it clearly shows. The entertainment team were especially good also, there was always something to do, we stayed 31st of august until the 14th of september but someone took a 💩 in the pool during aqua gym on the 12th. Although this didn't spoil things for us as we spent the rest of our time at the adults only pool in Viva Maya the sister hotel a 5 minute walk up the beach, where we met some amazing friends. This hotel was a load of fun, we took up the bicycle rental (a must do as it's free) to cycle around the community and see the smaller mayan ruins, it was truly lovely. The only downside was when we first arrived it was really quiet and within 2-3 days it had become EXTREMELY busy because of the pool closure at viva maya to which tui had to move guests to our hotel so we were waiting 20-25 minutes at some points to get a drink, in heat like that you can become frustrated really quickly. I went to see the Tui rep Pawel who was really aggressive, condescending and really confrontational about our issues. Apart from what i've raised everything was great. Thanks Azteca.

This was not the hotel we were supposed to stay at but our travel agents changed us to this one last minute due to renovations at the sister hotel. So we were a bit apprehensive as I do like to do my research before booking a holiday. The hotel didnt disappoint. WiFi was really good all over the hotel. Our room was very dark due to were it was located, but we dont spend a lot of time in our room, so not a problem Room number 2229. Food was plentiful a lot of choice sometimes not hot but was good. A la carte restaurants were great the Italian was the best in our opinion. But the other 2 were great also. The pool was lovely. Snack bar was also good. The cafe was great cakes were fantastic. The downside of the holiday was sarggussum which was a shame but hotel staff did their best to rake most of it up so at least you got to get into the sea. And the other thing was mosquitos this is not the first time we have been to Mexico but we both were eaten alive by these pesky devils, take plenty of bite cream, we were wearing mosquito bands didnt deter them at all. I think most of the time we were getting bit in the bar, it was the most humid place in the hotel. The staff were lovely always wished you a good morning. Animated team were great. Room was always cleaned to a good standard. Our room had a leak from the air-conditioning unit, they were out within half an hour and it was fixed and the following day they came back to fix the ceiling where it was dripping from.

The Vivito’s club team are amazing, my little girl loved her time with them doing all the activities, face painting and making things, she also loved participating in the mini discos they do for them and the shows they take part in. Thank you so much Marilú, Sehem, Greta, Jaco and Emiliano for giving Nevaeh your time and making memories with her.
