Azul Beach Resort Montenegro by Karisma

Just returned from this hotel after spending 10 days here. On the whole we had a great time although some improvements need to be made to make it a brilliant place. The check in was relatively smooth although the mature lady that works on reception could do with some customer service skills, the guy is very accommodating and lovely. Rooms were cleaned daily and overall the whole complex is kept very clean, people maintain the gardens and grounds daily. Plenty of pools and loads of sun loungers around, no early morning dash, there was always plenty and you also have all the loungers on the beach as well. Cocktails were a bit hit and miss depending on who was serving, some staff didn’t seem to have a clue what goes into them. Food was always plentiful, lots of choice and you could always go to the beach bar if you fancied something different. Children’s entertainment could definitely do with improving. We travelled with a 4 year old and the entertainment was the same sketch every night 🙈. The out door entertainment area was a mosquito haven, they could really do with looking at this, some nights it was in the kids club which was better. The entertainment team need to organise themselves better, things where happening throughout the day beach volley ball, yoga, darts etc but they never announced its start or asked everyone to join in, they basically just asked a few people then gave up. Overall we had a good time and would return to Montenegro but possibly not this hotel as it is so far out with nothing around it, A taxi into the old town is €15 and well worth a visit, lovely restaurants and beautiful sunsets to see. The taxi driver will offer to come back to get you at an agreed time if you wish. Just as an information note the airport you fly into Tivat is tiny and a bit chaotic, especially on return flights

She was always supportive, attentive, and ready to assist with any request at any time and always with professionalism, kindness, and constant smile made our sta. Sanela truly goes above and beyond to ensure guests feel welcome and well taken care of. Thank you for the outstanding service!

Amazing and very professional people! Jovana went above and beyond to make our stay memorable! She represented Montenegro in the best way possible, and made up for all airport issues we faced. We can't wait to be back!

This is a first for me! I am writing this review whilst still here We have been here 3 days so far and we can't find fault with the service, staff and amenities at the resort. Last year, shortly after booking, we were tempted to cancel after reading the negative reviews, however we are so happy we didn't! I honestly don't understand them, yes we have had a couple of minor issues but these were resolved immediately. The staff are lovely, helpful and eager to ensure the guests have the best holiday. The room , premium building seaview, is great, spotlessly clean and well maintained. I will write a full review on our return to the UK but I felt I had to reassure fellow travellers who may be apprehensive, it is relaxing, clean and well staffed- don't hesitate if you are indecisive you will enjoy it

Hotel is miles from anywhere, the rooms are substandard cracks in the mirror in bathroom, holes in the canvas, wash your hands and sand comes out the taps. Food the only decent place is the premium bar as they serve hot food. Twice we had meals from marley bar and they have delivered incorrect and cold today we gave both lunches back, how do they over cook crispy chicken but serve it cold and wedges cold the lovely young girl asked would we. Like this. Swapping but it would be for another cold meal not even like warm I. Had the lady touch the chicken and wedges. To. Feel for herself. They advise you your being upgraded to premium on check in but they say this to every guest they just mean you can use. The premium pool as you have actually paid for everything else. This is not a 4*hotel I would give this 2* only. Not. A. Single guest relations person around to ask about your stay possibly they know the response. If there were anywhere close around we would be having all meals out instead we are counting down the days to leave. We had dirty towels, dirty bedding after guest relations came to the room offered to move us to the premium block which we refused as only 1night to go and now looks like we been given the premium items other premium guest have as they are walking around in gowns we also had toileteries delivered.
