Arrived at the hotel, and was told we were only booked in for 14 nights, we had booked 21 with tour operators. Hotel staff contacted tour operators and sorted by the next day. We were also informed the sea view room we had booked was not a sea view room but a side sea view room, check the brochure wording. We could have a sea view room for 21€ extra per night, but we were here for 21 nights so 400€ extra, they also showed us a suite in the annexe next door with a sea view, but you could not see the sea, due to the trees and plants, so pointless, and it would of meant getting wet, when it rained going to the hotel, so we stayed with our side sea room, with large balcony, fridge and kettle. We were glad we were not on the front of the hotel near the road, as was very noisy 24 /7. Our room was clean , with a fridge for my medication, and a kettle, tea, coffee, sugar but no milk, had to get out of restaurant. The staff were pleasant and helpful, but restaurant staff were too eager to clear away items from the tables, so had to get more plates and cutlery, and cups etc. Alcoholic drinks were limited choice and local brands, and apparently watered down, you could purchase premium drinks but we were all inclusive apparently. Beer and wines were free, local spirits, gin, vodka, rum, whisky, all soft drinks and tea and coffee, no hot chocolate, all on self serve. Plenty of sun beds, and brollies, on a descent beach private. Beach bar served same drinks, and snacks were left over from breakfast, cold. The entertainment team spoke French and to French people, never to us, so we never joined in entertainment. The toilet in our room was fine and clean, but the toilets at the beach bar were disgusting, the toilets around the hotel , both the reception blocks, and swimming pool toilets were dirty, dusty, aged, and uncleaned and smelly, with urine leaking onto the floor from urinals. Paper hand towels not always available. The restaurant was more like a works or school canteen, food not always available and ready, shortages of wine glasses, plates, bowls, coffee cups. Coffee cups dirty. Cutlery dirty, tables dirty. Breakfasts were very basic and boring, same everyday, cold plates, 1 toaster for the whole hotel was next to useless, and a microwave supposed to be 4☆, more like 2☆. Stale bread, stuffed vegetables, beef and pork hot dog sausages, scrambled egg, omelette's, pancakes and waffles, cakes, salads, cheeses, yogurt. The so called bacon, I never went there, it was gross, the fried eggs were cooked in the kitchen, and bought out a dozen at a time, cold and rubbery, the boiled eggs were black when shelled. The hygiene of the show fresh cooking areas was appalling so was their professionalism. They wore surgical gloves but cooked in them and then handled food and went into the kitchen and bought items out, opening doors in the same gloves, and touching all types of food cooked and uncooked, and filling of the tureens. There was fruit, apples, banana's, oranges and grape fruit all cut up in to quarters, why. Dates and some nuts. Cakes and pastries, salad and cheeses. The food was always cold to tepid, but they did have a microwave, but whilst waiting for food to come out of kitchen your food on your plate went cold again. Dinner was no better, cold plates, pork or chicken dishes, stuffed vegetables, limited other vegetables, chips were soggy and cold, kept in a tureen with a lid on, steak was over cooked and impossible to chew, beef soup every day, like dish water, vegetable soup when available was sprout. Pizza was thinking with little filling and burnt, same routine with the gloves. 2 types of rice, baked potatoes, mashed potatoes, no gravy, salads and cheese, same cakes as breakfast prepared in trays and cut up ,same fruit as breakfast. Evening meals same as dinnertime, some changes. The veal was lovely, so was the chicken done in a barbecue sauce, but still needed microwave. Both my wife and I were ill, with sickness and diarrhoea and spent 2 days in our room each, me week 1 and my wife week 2, put it down to the chicken, so stayed away from it. One day while sunbathing on the beach, a French man was extremely sick and blamed the food, we were not on our own. We even went to the local shops and bought some Pot Noodles for when we could not find anything edible to eat, and ate in our room, good job we had a kettle. We have travelled all over the world for 40 years, America, Asia, Africa, Belgium, France, Spain Egypt, Netherlands, Germany, Switzerland, and many more, but can honestly say the food it's choice and cooking, and handling was the worst we have experienced and is never 4☆ It's a lovely country, lovely people, but the food let the hotel down, cold, raw, hygiene, and made us ill. After 10 days we contemplated getting a flight home, but having paid for another 11 nights, stayed with the pot noodles and made the best of it. We did a couple of trips and had a fair time, but won't be going back, Montenegro need to look at themselves and step up to provide 4☆ food and resources if they want to entertain tourists.
Clean rooms, great amenities, nice staff. All-inclusive buffet is very good, especially breakfast and dinner. More than enough food is available all over the meal time, even while the hotel is almost full.
Dear Management, We are writing to file a formal complaint regarding our treatment during our recent stay at your hotel from 16-10 to 17-20and specifically concerning the events that transpired on our check-out day, 17-10 During check-out, after the process was seemingly complete, we were called back to the reception desk and confronted with the following, in our view, unjustified accusations: 1. Violation of Check-in Policy: We were informed that a violation of the check-in policy had occurred. We would like to clarify that the entire check-in process was handled by Mr. Panagiotis, who can confirm this fact. We, as guests, had no direct involvement in the procedure. 2. Missing Equipment (Towels): We were charged for the theft of towels. The reality is that these towels were never placed in our room. On the previous evening, we repeatedly tried to contact the reception via both the internal and external phones, with no response. Notably, a reception employee admitted that due to their high workload, an oversight may have occurred. 3. Damage to Furniture (Glass Table): We were charged for a scratch on a glass coffee table, which, according to the staff, was only visible under specific conditions (when a black cushion was placed underneath it). As guests, we did not notice any such damage during our stay. Despite our detailed and proactive explanations and protests, and under the pressure of our impending bus departure, we were forced to pay the amount of €100 under strong protest. We consider this charge to be arbitrary and unjustified, based on unsubstantiated allegations and apparent errors on the part of your hotel. Consequently, we expect: · The immediate refund of the €100 amount. · A written explanation and a formal apology for this unpleasant experience. We believe this treatment does not meet the professional standards we would expect from your hotel. We await your prompt response to resolve this matter. Thank you for your time. Sincerely, Kypros Nikolaou
Very affordable luxurious place to stay if you are to come to Montenegro. The rooms are very spacious with beautiful views of the outside water bodies. Rooms are kept clean. Transport routes from the Tivat airport are pretty straightforward ( will involve a quick transfer on ferry, very lovely views) Don't worry about cash the Hotel has an ATM just outside the entrance. Oh! they have an all inclusive buffet, each day the meals were sumptuous. You got drinks throughout the day included are mocktails and cocktails, juices, water, tea and coffee. The snack bar is well set with tasty snacks and at dinner time children or adults can have ice-cream. The staff are very welcoming and happy people. Even though me and my friend struggled with the Montenegro dialect we did communicate and Miki was very helpful keeping us feel welcome. The hotel organises travel to a few tourist places at an extra but affordable fee. They pick you at the hotel, no hustle. The hotel has direct bus routes to Novi, Igalo if you want to see the towns: every 30minutes till about 23:00 hrs. The live band in the evening is very calming. If you love to be in water it's the best place with several swimming pools. If you have a family I'm certain you will enjoy the space, you can play volleyball at the beach side, there's a basket ball court as well. You have space to play a few games as a family and many spaces in the garden to have a quiet time. All in all it was a lovely place to stay. I would be back with more friends.
I had the most incredible holiday at Carine Hotel Park. First, the location is perfect, right on a private beach with breathtaking sea and mountain views. I booked a room with both views and although it came at an extract cost, it was the best decision I made. I booked an all-inclusive package, and it was completely worth it. The food was honestly some of the best I’ve ever had on holiday. Breakfast offered a wide variety of options, and both lunch and dinner had excellent choices too. I’m usually quite a picky eater, but there was always something delicious to enjoy at every meal. The staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming, everyone was smiling and genuinely seemed happy to help. There was so much to do within the hotel itself that we hardly felt the need to leave! We only went out for a boat tour (arranged by the hotel) and a short bus trip into town to explore. Otherwise, we spent most of our time relaxing on the beach, swimming, and enjoying the spa. It was truly the best holiday I’ve had in a long time. Beautiful views, amazing food, and excellent service, I would 100% recommend this hotel for anyone planning to visit Montenegro 🇲🇪
