Let me tell you what this hotel is really like, so you don’t get fooled by the photos and description. First of all, I’m not even sure this hotel deserves one star. We booked a room for three people and were given two tiny beds pushed together for three people. We asked to change rooms and had to pay an additional €200 in cash. The room was absolutely unacceptable: there were no towels at all, stains everywhere, crushed insects on the walls, filthy toilets, and even a dirty, used cotton swab left on the balcony. In the first room, the bed sheets also had holes in them. We had to pay €15 in tourist tax for two adults and one child, which seemed extremely high compared with the usual tourist tax in Montenegro. We also had to pay for parking, but only in cash, and the parking area was so cramped that it was barely possible to move the car. The breakfast was disgusting. We tried it once and never went back. The second time, I only went downstairs to get a coffee. I had to wait 15 minutes because the coffee machine was broken. When they finally repaired it, there were no cups. Once the cups were available, I was the first person waiting directly in front of the coffee machine, but the waitress served everyone except me Everything in this hotel felt dirty and poorly maintained. The sun loungers were all reserved from early in the morning by guests simply leaving their towels on them. This should not be allowed. The lights above the beds did not work properly either — half of the lights were not working. But the most important point: the photos shown on Opodo and Booking.com do not correspond to this hotel at all. According to the receptionist herself, the photos displayed online belong to another hotel. This is extremely misleading. I felt sick throughout our stay. I honestly felt like vomiting every time I walked past the dirty walls, stains and generally unhygienic areas. I started taking photos as evidence, but eventually I couldn’t even bring myself to continue because the whole place was so unpleasant. We eventually had to leave the hotel earlier than planned and find another accommodation, which was much better. This is, without a doubt, one of the worst hotel experiences I have ever had. The hotel is run-down, dirty and completely different from what is advertised online. The only bright spot during our stay was the manager, who was extremely kind and friendly.

Arrived but no room ready and had to wait till mid day the next day to relax and unpack. Amenities extremely poor. No tea and coffee/ refreshments in the room. I got back from a 13hr trip and asked for a coffee, was told no because they only had expresso!! You can only have a flat white at breakfast!!! The first room they put us in had paint peeling from the walls and more like a cell than a room I'd paid 1700 for. I won't recommend this hotel for couples as you can't get into the pool as so many unsupervised kids doing what they want and very unsafe things. I won't be back, a beautiful country but not the friendliest. A smile costs nothing but some could be arrogant and downright rude. This has been the worst holiday ive ever been on.

I booked with On the Beach in March. Arrived hot and tired - room ‘not ready’. Staff rude and unhelpful for several hours. Finally shown to a substandard room.( described and 4 * hotel!) Electrical sockets hanging off wall, light fittings with no bulbs or cover. Hotel said it might take hours to mend and no other rooms available. It was evening and in the end I had to leave and found alternative accommodation. The worst hotel experience ever either rude and dismissive staff.
