We had an absolutely amazing time in Montenegro, just enough relaxation from all the wedding drama but also lots to still do. A special thanks to Arun who kept our room clean and was very polite. The waiters Milan and Erin who were so efficient during breakfast time, they were very friendly and made our stay feel all the more special.

We had booked a sea view but this was a waste of money, the hotel us on a junction of a busy main road and all night there were car horns, revving , motorbikes, blasting music from sea front bars. The soundproofing of the windows was completely inadequate. We moved room after 2 days, the man helping us said people ask to move all the time, in fact we saw another couple complaining about the noise the following morning. Our new room was much better but we had paid £700+ for nothing. We were offered a bit of cake as compensation! Both the hotel and Jet2 should warn of potential noise before accepting upgrades. I understand it’s a city hotel but the glazing is poor. Other than that it’s a lovely hotel, most staff very friendly though we were rudely refused ice from the bar one time.The beds are v comfortable and rooms beautiful. Breakfast excellent. The pool bar boss was quite unfriendly, ordering seemed to put him out, though other staff very nice. We had a further issue on the last day when the rooftop pool and bar closed to guests in the early afternoon and music from a private function shook the hotel until the early hours. So 3 nights poor sleep and no access to the pool on the last day. Would not return.

Hotel is good however sadly the greed of the property in booking private events over paying guest satisfaction is a real disappointment. We were rudely told to leave the roof top pool at 3pm so they could host a private party. The noise from the party then went on until after 1am. To make matters worse the attitude of Ksenija Marjanovic, Guest Relations Manager was appalling. Her surly replies, failure to offer any form of apology and dismissive approach to the matter lacked professionalism. Hopefully she will be offered additional training to address this.

We've returned from a fabulous week at the Iberostar Waves Slavija and it's location is perfect, central for taking a bus to Sveti Stefan or a taxi to Kotor (book through the hotel). Old Town Budva is beautiful, and worth the 20 minute walk there and back. The hotel is immaculate and the staff are so friendly and warm. Special mention to Jovan, Lukka and Djana for making you feel so welcome. The pool bar team are great fun and work so hard to make your time there a good one. Rooftop Views are amazing and the pool area and breeze is such a great place to chill from the heat and relax. We had a side view room of the hotel next door being built, but this did not spoil our stay, we knew before arriving this was to be expected, but you're in Montenegro , get out and see the place! Do not be put off by this. The hotel and rooms are beautiful and clean and very spacious Breakfast at the hotel is amazing with great choice and Fahad is a super host, so friendly and attentive We also loved the restaurants in Old Town, The Bluecat is the best cocktail bar and a secret gem! You must visit!

We are currently staying in this beautiful hotel. It has an amazing view from it’s rooftop pool which overlooks the sea and across to the old town. All the staff in the different areas of the hotel are great , really friendly, welcoming and helpful and a particular mention should go to Arun & Aneesh who service our room daily- Nothing is ever too much for them and it’s always service with the biggest smile from these gents- Thanks guys!
