40€ I paid for pool access and sauna access for the day for 2 people with drinks on the side of course - Finnish sauna does not work properly, barely creates any heat. Had to ask front desk, when they finally appeared, to turn it on - Showers near sauna are very faulty - Indoor pool very cold, no heating - Jacuzzi by pool also very cold and not functioning - Rarely anyone at front desk for enquirers - Razor sharp edges around the pool, extremely unsafe for kids - Barely enough beds for pool and sauna goers, whether it be a hotel resident or a guest from outside This is your classical Montenegro (or Balkan) way of charging super high for something very basic and industry standard but not deliver the bare minimum. I am perplexed to how this place got a 4 and up on TripAdvisor, unless they bribed which is another Balkan thing to do. Maybe their rooms are nice, who knows. Rant over, good luck.

All in all we had a pleasant stay at Monte Casa last week, the hotel is very near beach and amenities and some very beautiful scenery. The room was a little dated but quite comfortable, unfortunately the balcony was quiet grubby, see picture,a coat of paint would not go a miss.Shower doors came off the runners, maintenance man came to fix promptly but seemed to be beyond him.So we lived with it!Both pools were fairly cool for July.Staff were ok but never seemed over happy.Breakfast was plentiful and not very busy. All in all a few minor points but did not spoil our holiday so would recommend this hotel for a stay in Petrovac which is a beautiful town but really busy in July.

good points....the location is great for the beach...although the beach is so overcrowded there is nowhere to sit breakfast was good although nothing is labelled, so beware if you have any allergies bad points....we had booked a twin room but was given a double and told that was all that was left...we booked the hotel months ago. So we had to end up top and tail which is not want you want. Our TV didn't work from the moment we arrived, several maintenance men couldn't fix it and they said they would need an engineer...who turned up on the last day of our holiday. I really wanted just to catch the news and some Wimbledon. They had to replace the TV with a spare, why they couldn't do that on the first day I have no idea. Our patio door got jammed on day 2, it was open about 5 inches and wouldn't budge. Our swimwear and towels were on the balcony. reported to the reception and was told the maintenance man doesn't work on a Saturday! Someone would be there in the morning ...they never showed up. We had a night with no aircon as the outside heat was turning the aircon off...it was awful. We should have been moved to another room. Kept getting told the hotel was full but we could see empty rooms. It was fixed on the Sunday night after we kept going back to reception. I think the worst thing was the cleaning....I took a photo of our sheet on the bed...it was disgusting but we had complained about so much other stuff that I think they dreaded us turning up at reception...but the cleaning staff did not clean the room or change the sheets or towels for the week we were there. They need to either employ more maintenance men or have people who can actually fix things. All in all the whole experience was very poor and they should not advertise a twin room if there are none available Also no tea or coffee making facilities in the room
