When we arrived the service was outstanding. After that we were told that they give us an upgrade to a lagoonvilla. We were very surprises and delighted. We spend a marvellous time in our luxury villa. The staff was amazing. The breakfast was very good and tast. Insha Allah. We Will return soon to Al Baleed.

Already Rebooked Before I Left I stayed at Al Baleed Anantara in May 2026 for a 7-night holiday in a Pool Villa, and it was one of the most relaxing and enjoyable resort stays I have experienced. A special thank you to Gabor, who welcomed me on arrival and allocated the perfect villa. It was private, spacious and incredibly peaceful. What stood out most was his daily WhatsApp check-ins to ensure everything was going smoothly. It felt genuinely personal and reflected the high standards Anantara is known for. The resort itself is beautifully maintained and has a strong focus on sustainability. Guests can explore the hotel’s nursery and farm, and there is even the opportunity to plant a frankincense tree, which is a unique touch. Hussain and Ahmed from the front desk were excellent. The resort is expansive, but whenever I needed a golf buggy, a quick text or call was all it took and one would arrive promptly at my villa. Although the private pool can be heated, there was absolutely no need during my stay—the cool water was the perfect escape from the Omani heat. Breakfast at Meekong was made even better by Sandeep, who remembered my dietary requirements, how I liked my tea and my food preferences throughout the week. It was always a pleasure chatting with him each morning. I would also like to recognise Sultan at Mina restaurant, whose attentive and friendly service enhanced every visit. Nothing ever seemed too much trouble. Katuzi, who serviced my villa on several occasions, was equally impressive. Like so many members of the team, he genuinely cared about my experience and always asked whether there was anything that could be improved. Honestly, I could not think of anything. The beach is pristine, the infinity pool is beautiful, and there are plenty of loungers and cabanas available. Thoughtful touches such as chilled face towels and fresh fruit skewers served on the beach added to the overall experience. The resort also offers excellent facilities, including a paddle court, children’s play area and a variety of dining options catering to different tastes and dietary requirements. My stay was so enjoyable that I rebooked for May 2027 while I was still at the resort, which probably says more than anything else. Thank you to Gabor, Hussain, Ahmed, Sandeep, Sultan and Katuzi for making my stay so memorable. I am already looking forward to returning.

We stayed in Al Baleed Resort for one week and it was an unforgettable experience. We loved the facilities, the team, kids club, sport facilities, swimming pool, restaurants... such an incredible, peaceful and recharging week.

We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful resort. It's a very unique place in GCC with a real tropical feel (coconut and banana trees everywhere) that makes you forget your daily life. The villas are beautiful and the facilities (gym, tennis and padel courts, pools, kids club etc...) are really great. The staff is very welcoming and will do its utmost best to make you happy. The Region is also super nice to visit, specially the beautiful Fazayah beach which looks like Seychelles. The only point to improve in our view is the food which is not at the level of the rest, but we tried different places in Salalah and it seems to be a common challenge for all the hotels there. In global we really enjoyed our time in this resort and would definitely love to come back !
