Vienna House by Wyndham Amber Baltic Miedzyzdroje

During check-in the receptionist Martina was unpleasant as if she was bothered by the arrival and left an unpleasant impression for the whole stay. Upon arrival the shower in our bathroom was clogged and the phone didn't work - both faults were fixed the next day upon our request. The cupboard with coffee and tea wasn't replenished upon arrival. My bath robe had two big holes in it. The rug had brown stains. Two days in a row we were woken up at 8.00 am by the staff vacuuming other balconies. Three of four days at breakfast the salad leaves were all dead, the first day the bread already cut into loaves was dry, later i didn't try it anymore. Salt and pepper were served in tiny paper bags, the way it's done in fast food chains. In general breakfast was a disappointment both in the quality and freshness of the products, as well as a tiny choice of regional foods. In the wellness zone the chip readers didn't work, so anyone from outside the hotel could enter through the door at the pool. The booking directly at the hotel was too long and demanded many follow ups from me (email message asking for a confirmation of booking remained unanswered for two weeks even though i asked three times). Some of these might be seen as details but all added up together indicate a pattern of negligence and bad managemenent, leaving a guest with a poor experience which is far from what a 4-star hotel should provide. Rooms were cleaned very well on daily basis and the cleaning team was very kind and professional. The bartender Svitlana prepared excellent cocktails. The beach in front is trully beautiful but the area gets very busy and especially at night you can be bothered by the noise from the outside like music from the beach bar and drunk people singing and screaming.

If you ever wandered how Poland looked like in 1990s, then visit Moedzyzdroje, and especially this hotel. The decor of the common areas and the rooms hardens back to those days. Both this hotel and especially the Molo area could use a good tsunami 🙂

Made reservation for 2 adults & 1 child (14 y.o.). Asked to pay 60 EUR extra for extra bed or suggested to sleep in 1 bed!!! Manager and receptionist are rude and not helpful. Entire hotel - 2-star the most! Broken parts in the room, dirty. Executive room we received is a tiny place - 3 people can hardly move there. Parking costs 20 EURO per day!! - 50 meters down the street, you will pay third of that price.

Best known hotel in Miedzyzdroje. It's best time were some time ago (80's and 90's). It's a fairly expensive hotel. Once an undisputed star of the coast - today it is dim. Unfortunately, its current quality does not justify high prices for accommodation. Renovation is coming. I hope that it will also bring a new quality of service and rooms, which do not come together with today's four-star standard. Unfortunately, high prices will probably remain. Such rules prevail here ...

This hotel is ideally located for those wishing to holiday on the sandy part of the Baltic. The staff were friendly throughout. The breakfast was excellent throughout. Some parts of the hotel decided tired.
