Green Mountain Hotel

Green Mountain has officially become my favourite hotel in Arusha. It has everything you could possibly want - beautiful swimming pool, fully equipped gym, delicious restaurant, fantastic service and great WiFi (which is hard to find in Arusha!) It would recommend to anyone looking for either long term or quick stop over. It is close enough to town that you can get a quick bajaji or taxi into town with no worries. 100% recommend.

This is the third time I’ve stayed at the Green Mountain Hotel. The facilities are excellent, the rooms are very comfortable, and everything is always perfectly clean. The pool area is very relaxing and a great place to chill after a long day. The restaurant is also very good and works 24/7, which is extremely convenient if you arrive late or have an irregular schedule. But if there’s one thing I must highlight, it’s the service. The staff is genuinely kind and welcoming in every area of the hotel. I especially want to mention Dorice and Haruna - great people who have always been extremely kind and helpful. Thanks to them everything was resolved very smoothly. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Arusha.

I stayed at this hotel for almost four weeks while my house was being finished. It was a very pleasant experience. I have stayed at lots of hotels in Tanzania, so I have had a lot of opportunities for comparison. The hotel is a very good value. It has an on site restaurant that serves from morning to evening at all times. The included breakfast is really something special, with a dizzying variety of hot dishes, breads, fruit and salad. There are many choices for lunch and dinner at very reasonable prices. There is a pool with pleasant surroundings, and a high level of security. On the day that I arrived, I found that the shower head was broken. I reported it at the desk and immediately it was repaired. This is a very rare occurrence in Tanzania. The biggest strength of the hotel is their friendly and professional staff. In particular I was greatly impressed by Mr Haruna, who went out of his way every day to make my stay enjoyable, so special thanks to him the extra effort!

Our stay was excellent. Great breakfast, excellent gym, comfortable rooms, kind employees. I will come back for sure.

I had a very good experience, I’ll definitely be back 😊. It’s a nice hotel, good environment and experience at a very fair price. So whenever you guys are finding a hotel to stay, this is the hotel for you.
