Hotel Bornit

location of the hotel is good. a bit of a walk up the hill, but still close to city center and walking trails. our room was big but without character. had to ask for cleaning and new towels. breakfast is good, wide variety, some vegetarian options. i would have liked more fruit. dinner is basic, polish food and not really suitable for vegetarians (although I informed them with our reservation). big swimming pool (a bit cold), also okay with kids. and a lot of entertainment options for kids (playing areas and a kids program in the morning and evening - at least, during our stay). bar downstairs serves some drinks , no snacks, but you can bring your own. communication in english is difficult. german a little, but mainly polish. the isolation of the hotel is poor, it's cold everywhere. overall, the price of the hotel is high compared to quality . before we arrived at Bornit we stayed in Hilton for the same price... The whole hotel breaths the air of faded glory

Dirty carpet bad smells and rusted sheets full whit stains worst 4 star hotel ever .in restaurant a old carpet full whit food stained.... who puts a carpet in restaurant fridge not working.... never again here

Hotel feels like it is falling apart sometimes. Broken or missing pieces in elevator, room door had to be locked to not open themselves. Bathroom - no shampoo or soap, nobody cared to fill it. Swimming pool OK, but really no wellness zone with resting zone or jacuzzi. Jacuzzi is advertised, but not present. Terrible food, especially breakfast with sausages and eggs overcooked, glasses dirty (from previous drinks) not cleaned properly, etc. Many other better options available in Szklarska Poreba than this hotel. Not recommended.
