Great small hotel, well located for access to restaurants and bars and a short (<10 minutes) walk to the port where the whale and dolphin watching tours depart. Our room was spacious and well equipped. The bed was large and very firm. Sockets well positioned for chargers etc. Breakfast was fine - warm offering was limited (scrambled eggs, baked beans, mushrooms), but plenty of cold options with a selection of breads, meats, cheeses, jams, croissants, cake, cereal, fresh fruit and yoghurt. The staff were helpful and attentive, going out of their way to help accommodate us after we had to make last minute changes to our schedule. A couple of negatives from our stay that are worth mentioning: The pool area has a major pigeon issue and is covered in droppings. 🐦💩🐦💩🐦💩. If a dip in a pool is a high priority for you, book elsewhere!! The pillows were lumpy. The toilet cistern continuously dribbled water into the pan and the toilet door did not close properly. None of these things bothered us too much, but means I can't give the hotel 5/5

The hotel was in a perfect location. There were five or six restaurants right on the street as well as a couple of coffee bars. The staff not have been more accommodating. They were all very friendly specifically Pedro at the front desk and Vanessa the breakfast manager. The free plentiful breakfast was an added bonus. The hotel had free parking as well. Our room had a terrace and was basically a 750 sq. ft. apt. With full kitchen amenities. I highly recommend!!

Brief one night stay here but good enough room. Paying extra for a terrace was worth it for some fresh air although it’s enclosed by walls so a little claustrophobic. Bathroom could do with better maintenance as shower tiles had black mould on them. Although we’d paid for breakfast we had to leave too early so took the packed breakfast instead. This wasn’t great, soggy sandwiches and croissants. Excellent location.

Outstanding service by Sofia M and her Guest Relations Team!!!! Room spacious and the Balcony was an added bonus. Caring and helpful staff thruout......quaint location and close to everything, easy walk to the Marina and shops and the street the hotel is located on hosts some great restaurants. Friendly and helpful staff, they take care of every detail.....they made our stay an amazing experience, beautiful island, Ponta Delgada has been on my wish list and it did not disappoint. This is a nice mid-range hotel, well situated for exploring Ponta Delgada. The room was clean and comfortable and the staff were extremely helpful (including arranging a taxi and take away breakfast on the day I had a very early flight). He only drawback is the noise from the local bar, which had loud music and raucous singing until 2am on Sunday morning.
