The Lince Azores

This is a well located hotel, though a bit further than some from the downtown/waterfront action. Rooms are an adequate size with plenty of closet space and a good sized bathroom with a lovely shower head in the tub, so it is not a walk-in shower. Lighting could use improvement but opening the windows provides lovely light. Beds are soft but we all slept well. We were on the side of the busy road so you will hear cars all day but people stop driving later at night so it never prevented our sleep. Breakfast is excellent with a lot of variety. It will essentially be the same every day but you can easily mix up what you are having and there were lots of fruit and drink options which we really appreciated. Most days the free parking behind the hotel was easy to find. The lobby is very large and has great seating to hang out there. You are about 1 km from downtown area but lots of restaurants to choose from and we found a good grocery store in nearby pingo douce to get our items for lunches. We would definitely return to this location should we find ourselves back here again. Being in Ponto Delgado is also a nice central city to stay in for exploring the island.

We feel like home! Very cozy and very friendly! Rooms are comfortable, the breakfast is very reach. I can say only the best words for Octant hotel.

This hotel made us a very big suprize, that made our last day in the Azores, unforgetablie. We booked into the LN room and go, that belongs to the same companey, and where upgraded to stay in the hotel brekfast inckuded. This is a beautifull hotel, with a great room. Very good and reach breakfast , and all for the same price we payed for the cheaper place. Thank you very much, to the staff of the Azores hotel, for giving us such a wonderfull last night , before going home.

Had a fantastic stay at The Lince Azores! The indoor pool, sauna, and jacuzzi were the perfect way to relax after a day of exploring. The room was beautifully designed and very comfortable, and the staff were always friendly and welcoming. The buffet breakfast was really nice with plenty of variety, and the hotel’s location is excellent—within walking distance to some of Ponta Delgada’s most famous attractions. Parking was super easy as well. Highly recommend this hotel as a base for discovering São Miguel!

We enjoyed our one night at The Lince Hotel. I had booked through Expedia. Late arrival meant we couldn't use some of the extras that came with the room, such as a discount off the dinner buffet and the spa. The room was nice with a king bed, well equipped bathroom, and complimentary mini bar. It was Saturday night (but still early for us) so we went to the lively bar on the 2nd (?) floor. Buffet Breakfast the next morning had plenty of options, including Champagne. Free Parking in their secure garage. Great staff! We were able to walk a couple of blocks from the hotel to the Pineapple Plantation. Would gladly stay again.
