Vila Gale Collection São Miguel

This hotel is beautiful. It’s in a perfect location to the old town restaurants and bars . The rooms are spacious and ours overlooked the pool . The staff are wonderful and extremely helpful with everything. We hired a car to explore . Tiago gave us a wine tasting experience, his knowledge was perfect . The hotel is run very well and the two main men are superb .

The hotel is beautiful and has a magnificent location. The staff was very kind, friendly, and helpful. Overall, we had a pleasant stay. However, for a four-star hotel, we felt that a few details were missing. There was no complimentary coffee or tea in the room, and the à la carte restaurant was not operating during our stay. We were told that, because the hotel was very busy, only the dinner buffet was available. Unfortunately, the buffet did not look particularly appealing. Despite these shortcomings, the hotel itself is lovely, the location is excellent, and the staff was wonderful.

Vila Gale Collection Sao Miguel not only met, but exceeded all expectations. The property is immaculate and it is taken care of to a high degree. The rooms are clean and modern and the personel are friendly and helpful. Breakfast each morning was lovely and the pools/spa were absolutely beautiful. I would definitely stay there again!

Indoor and outdoor pools are great. Breakfast was excellent. Enjoyed our time there.

The hotel has lots of character and is situated in a square close to many places to eat and drink. We thought there was a good selection of food at breakfast. We enjoyed using the spa facilities - there is an indoor and outdoor pool and there is also a sauna and steam room in the spa. The staff are friendly and helpful and, on our last night, the manager personally checked in with us to get feedback on our stay. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend.
