Viva Tangerine by Wyndham

I stayed at this resort from September 5-12 w/ my friends and we enjoyed ourselves to the fullest! The staff are amazing and this includes the animation team, dining room team, groundskeepers, security, guys who were working on the pool, etc. I must give a special THANK YOU to these individuals: The Best Nutella, Tasmania, BlackyBoy, Dana, Winnie, Paulina, Dj Lobo, Candi, Electric and the beautiful curly haired Italian (sorry I forgot your name😶). They all made sure the guests were always entertained and never bored. In the dining area I must say many many thanks to Javelina, Nehemia, Eduardo, Domingo and their supervisors Agustin and Stephanie! ..oops let me not forget Rosa in the green shirt! I stayed in room 4102 which had a nice view of the ocean and our only issue with the room was the shower as water can splash EVERYWHERE if you are not careful with the pressure. We also had an issue with the in room safe and thebair conditioner and when I contacted the front desk, they had the repair team sent out right away to fix them. The buffet & snack bars were ok as I always had something to eat that I liked but I must say that I have had better options at other resorts. The hotel is in a great location as you can walk to the Cabarete main strip in 15-20 minutes either by the beach or on the main road. If you want to be adventurous, you can take a motorcycle taxi for $1 or a regular taxi for $2. I have no complaints about this resort. My friends and I had an awesome time & the staff made my birthday even more special. Will I return to Viva Tangerine Wyndham- most definitely! P.s. the best beach vendor is a lady named Mama Banana- she wears a yellow hat, does not pressure you to buy anything and has the best prices. Some of the other vendors can be a bit aggressive but stand firm when you say NO and you will be left alone.

I had a great time at the resort has a solo traveler, very well located, right in cabarete beach where there is a show on the sea everyday looking at kitesurfers ! The animation team put a lot of effort to keep an ambiance, at night the shows are great and kuddo to Paulina, Irene, La semana and chakichan for making my week even better!

As a person with a disability, I find that this resort is very accessible. There are some things that need improvements. The entertainment crew were very fun, especially The Best Nutella.

Great Beach, without seaweed... but not clear. We enjoyed the beach, it's waves and the water is warm. Great for water sports. Very basic pools, but clean... warm water. Rooms are basic and clean... the resort is very small and clean... did not see any bugs... a few bees and maybe one or two mosquitos in a week. BUT... the food and drinks are not good. There is barely any protein to each and those are horrible cuts. Only the bonyest cuts of any animal. Great place to lose weight if you like quality food. There is a coffee shop that is not bad. Lots of families go there but better suited for singles due to the poor quality in food and drinks. Not fancy at all, but a decent cheap vacation. Fun beach though.

Jordany sold us couples excursion and omg that was just soooo nice amazing advice and excursion he give us, he’s really good at his job very funny, very professional and should be the boss And Jules the photographer take amazing picture and really good at his job and very sweet
