Bahia Principe Escape Bouganville

2nd time back to Bougainville wonderful people and wonderful friendly staff can’t wait to come back

We love the Bahia Principe Escape Bouganville in La Romana. We took my cousin there for her 50th birthday. When making the reservations I requested to be on the first floor due to having a bad back. When we checked in, they had us on the fourth floor. The young lady at the front desk said she would see what she could do, she was able to help us get on the first floor. We had lunch on the Explore side when we arrived. Radaisi was managing the buffet, we were greeted with a big smile and hugs from her. She is always helping her staff and making everyone feel like family. She is a big reason we always keep coming back to this location. Radaisi asked us to come back over for dinner Saturday night and we did. the food was great. She had us go to Le Gourmet Restaurant (on the Explore side) for dinner on Sunday night, Chef Lola cooked our steaks to perfection, it was amazing. I would highly recommend seeing if she is working and go see her as well as Radaisi. The back pool swim up bar is the best, the bar tenders are fun and engaging, we spent most of our time in the pool. We met a lot of nice people from all over the world. The lobby bar was a lot of fun and the bar tenders there were great! Omelets are the best there, the chef preparing them is always friendly. The young ladies at the entrance greet you with a smile and a good morning. The entertainment staff at the back pool are lots of fun and keeps everyone doing something most of the day and night. They are always having fun. It is a little more expensive since it has changed to Hyatt and the buffet on the Escape side was a little different from the past (it was good but not as good). You can't go wrong staying at this location. We hope to go back in a few months to see Radaisi, Chef Lola and everyone else.

Everything about this vacation at bahia principe- Bouganville was perfect! The room was quiet, clean, and cold. The food was delicious, and everyone was extremely accommodating. 2 individuals made our visit particularly amazing; Ronnie and Ronaldo. From my understanding both of their primary resteraunt is Don Pablo, but we saw them everywhere. They were absolutely delightful and the relationship my boyfriend and I built with them through our vacation definitely effected our vacation in an extremely positive way. We ate at Don Pablo twice, they coordinated a wonderful birthday for my boyfriend's father and the food was delicious! I personally recommend the sirloin. Another top resteraunt for us was Takara. We didn't particularly enjoy the Brazilian steak house or the Italian spot, but there will always be restaurants that don't hit if the rest are winners! The staff that cleaned our room was also very prompt and did a very good job. I could not have asked for a better vacation, truly.

Fab holiday from start to finish ok the sea is not great but knew that before going beach is beautiful would go back in a heart beat love the Bahia brand

Love every minute of my stay. Caroline and the entertainment team were excellent!! 10/10 They worked so hard so keep everyone entertained. The staff were all so attentive and accommodating. I had an issue with my room they did not hesitate to change it I've stayed in the Bahia in Jamaica and Dominican Republic and I would definitely recommend.
