The resort seemed big but everything seemed close to everything especially if you have mobility issues. The atmosphere was very friendly and polite...the staff from the entrance to all other services (maids,servers,bar tenders, managers) were very friendly and courteous.....the resort is not a "young resort" but it serves its purpose well. No Complaints ...would go back again.

Sadly, this hotel has seen better days. Staff are friendly and the beach is amazing. But i had better service and comforts in a 4 Star Cuban hotel a few years back. Very disappointed with Barcelo. They need to upkeep better

Stick with Barcelo.Some are better than others but we always feel happy when we leave.We got our monies worth.

Bar service was slow at the swim up bar, rooms weren’t that clean, stains on bedsheets and towels. AC wasn’t working in room

This was the 2nd time me and my teenage daughter stayed at OC. There are so many choices when you shop for an all inclusive with all the reviews that you can go crazy trying to make the best choice. We stayed here in 2022 through an Expedia package and loved it. I couldn't recall anything negative. I booked direct this time and had the same experience. The rooms are very good, nothing glamorous or 5-star but we don't need that. They are all you really need and they all face the ocean. There are several restaurants to choose from and everything we ate was really good to great. The staff are so nice and friendly. Both pools were always clean and a great break from the beach. Pool 1 has the swim up bar and random entertainment throughout the day with a great energy/vibe. Pool 2 is more relaxed with no music. You often hear about people finding their place in the Caribbean and become repeat customers...I think OC is our place, I am already planning our next trip.
