We just got back from a vacation there . The resort is beautiful. Two big pools . One for kids also and slides . Very big pathways through the forest with lots of lizards and birds. Coffie place very nice , ice cream place also , sport bar and beach bar . It's true if you do not speak Spanish or do not look Latino you are treated very very differently by a lot staf members and servers especially in the buffet restaurant and around that area. Servers very rude , don't even come to your table most of the days you have to do everything by yourself. The beach was not good . Lots and lots of weeds on the beach rotten weeds siting there for days and in the sea also . Lucky we went there with friends because it feels very isolated by staff members . Never coming back .

The hotel lacks culinary variety; there are no themed menus, and the same menu is served for several days. Excellent room and cleaning Excellent entertainment team. Poor-quality drinks. Very poor service from the bartenders and restaurant servers. Excellent reception team beautifull place train takes long to pick you up Never come back

El servicio es excelente. Todos muy atentos. Facilidades comodas. Varias actividades para hacer sin necesidad de salir del hotel. Buffet rico, restaurantes impresionantes en fin una rica experiencia, en especial Gracias a los de entretenimiento, Gabriel, Daniela, Julio, y los q se me quedan, de seguridad Nin por el apoyo requerido. A los trollistas y malleteros que se detenian para ayudarme a moverme de lugar a lugar. Y los de barra en la piscina ufff The service is excellent. Everyone very attentive. The facilities are comfy. Lost of activities to do without leaving the hotel. The buffets taste great, the restaurants are impressive and a very delicious experience. Special thanks to the entertainment staff, Gabriel, Daniela, Julio, and the ones I'm missing, the security guard Nin for helping me. To the troolie men and luggage carriers that would stop to help me move from one place to another. Yland also to the staff from bars at swimming pool

We have just got back from a family holiday at this resort there was 12 of us all together with children ranging from 3-16 This is an honest review after being to the dom rep before in 4 other hotels on the island, arriving at the hotel expecting what we had before like all hotels you have good and bad points they are all different and unique in there own way but unfortunately this didn’t live up the standards we have had before travelling to the dom rep it’s so annoying because this hotel could be amazing so here’s my review The positives:- Beautiful grounds and kept very well and clean (few broken tiles but did see them trying to fix them) the wildlife this was so lovely for the children and never been to a hotel before that had that. Did smell a little but it’s a nature area it’s their habitat so didn’t see that a problem. Rooms…..we had two rooms per family with a connecting door this was great, the rooms where lovely and modern clean and fresh the air con worked (some people had complaints) ours was fine just make sure your door is completely closed. Mini fridge in room great as long as you leave the door open to the cupboard other wise the drinks don’t get cold, the cleaners were great all out belonging was carefully looked after they work really hard and was very appreciative of what they did. Always had clean towels never a problem (some people were moaning) Beach …. Stunning yes there is sea weed not the hotels fault and they really did try and clean it up the grounds team one day bagged it by hand and carried off the beach so just enjoy the beach don’t let it ruin your holiday it’s Mother Nature. Public areas like toilets in restaurants and lobby’s always so clean and smelt beautiful. Facilities… ice cream shop, coffee shop sports bar the restaurant’s Brazilian is the best, crazy golf the teens club all no extra charge great…. Bowling was an extra charge we did it once they enjoyed it. 10 dollars pp. Pools…. Lovely amount of pools great little slides for the younger ones not to far to walk lots of sun loungers beach and pool area. Wristbands…. These were the best we have had in all the hotels visited on the island they are your room key as well so the adults and teens were able to access the rooms no need for room cards they was on you all the time this was great loved that part (if lost though you did have to pay $50 per band) understandable though! 3 staff members…… Luis you will find him at the snack bar he was so lovely genuine person, great with the little ones Richard who was the manger of the buffet area he went out of his way to help and we appreciated what he did which we never asked for and a lady on guest services didn’t unfortunately get her name but she was lovely and always helped getting the restaurants booked up for us all really lovely lady. Animation team….. great team foam party was fun Now for the negatives… If you spoke Spanish treated very differently!! I speak a little and tired to speak as much as I could as I respect you are in their country and there could be a language barrier …… but never have I felt awkward to ask for items like drinks or ice cream I’m not asking for special treatment but just a little smile. Food….. buffet wasn’t great not much variety mirrored each other on both sides I did always find something and did enjoy but it’s nothing like we have visited before, couldn’t keep up with the demands when cooking fresh waited a long time they didn’t seem to use the space they had it could be great if they did …. If you have children or just a pain Eater found it hard, snack bar in the day was better least they had fries, Get up early when quieter is my advice. Service….. worst hotel I’ve been to on the island for this took ages to get a drink with your meal and sometimes at the restaurants and sometimes we didn’t get any just water, always offered coffee in a morning though. You got treated very differently if you tipped all the time in the sports bar especially the guy who takes the food orders he was very open about it giving the had gesture for money and pointed to a table that tipped every time he went to them, (and we did tip just to make that clear) Ice cream shop didn’t open till 4pm and one lady behind didn’t even smile not even at the 3 year old who was excited for ice cream, but did see her smile and talk to Spanish speaking children (once again don’t need to know every language but everyone knows how to smile) On site shop….. wow this one you felt like a shop lifter they followed you everywhere and spoke Spanish around you laughing which was being spoken about the customer (like I said I understand a little so could get the gist of it) until we raised it and the hotel did confront them about it!! Shuttle trucks …..positive thing they take you round the resort and the drivers are lovely with the kids but wow people are rude pushing and shoving I didn’t like that with having children so be prepared for that one!! We raised the complaints to our rep who said we couldn’t compare hotels which I found that comment completely invalid he also said the hotel gets there star rating before opening so you have a 5star resort but not the food or service to back that up which is definitely a massive part of your holiday, we gave the hotel an opportunity to discuss the matter but they didn’t approach us like the rep said they would what’s app to have a meeting. It’s so disappointing having to write a review like this but for people in the future travelling I wanted to be as honest as possible the hotel is beautiful and facilities are brilliant had such potential to a really amazing place, but very average food, and poor service just doesn’t live up to the hotel I want to say thank you to our cleaners who were happy and lovely, the 3 people I mentioned before once again just genuinely lovely friendly people, the ground workers who work so hard and keep the hotel beautiful, Shame about all the rest that’s all I have to say. I do hope you find this review helpful I really do go into hotels with a real open mind but this one i did have to comment on.

Don’t go here if you’re English! We recently returned from this resort and unfortunately will not even consider this resort going forward, The service was incredibly inconsistent, and we felt discriminated the whole time we were their, It’s clear that if your willing to tip generously at the start of anything you do you will be fine, the TUI rep told us that these staff will always prioritise the ‘big tippers’ due to their low wage, however this resorted in miserable service and being made to feel uncomfortable in almost every interaction we had with them, the children went to the bar for soft drinks on several occasions and were always overlooked and it took an adult to stand behind them to get service, the language barrier is a huge issue here, the staff would get visibly frustrated with us as we can not speak fluent Spanish despite us having a good basic knowledge of the Spanish language small talk, This resulted in them being miserable and lots of muttering under their breath and in some cases, talking and laughing about us in Spanish which made the situation uncomfortable Every time we entered the shop we were stalked as the staff who were previously leant on the side would come within two meters of us and just stare at the floor whilst more local residents would browse the shop freely At meal times we had situations where we weren’t even served drinks, plates were allowed to build up and attract flies in between courses, two of the main restaurants were closed which drove more people into the buffet which was absolute chaos every time, poor quality food and small storage containers which meant it would all get used up very quickly and was never replaced, the pizzas were actually brilliant however they could just simply not keep up with demand and they would be gone within seconds, the meat quality was also poor with very low grade meats being used, the biggest issue in the buffet was the organisation, monster ques at all the individual stations, no lines just constant pushing and shoving, certainly no place for kids, The Brazilian, Italian and tepinyaki restaurant were the silver lining and they provided a rest bite from the carnage off the buffet, but be aware you have to book these well in advance to get the reservation, We were soo unhappy with the buffet and service we tried to upgrade and were willing to pay for the vip service however we were told we could not do this due to no children as it’s adults only however for the last 5 days off the holiday we witnessed Spanish speaking families and their children in the vip restaurants and bars The snack bar is ok however it cannot Keep up with the demand so its availability is very hit and miss We had one more night where we visited the buffet at 8.15pm, it was destroyed and nearly all out, their was no restaurant availability so we went to the sports bar, we arrived here and were told they only had chips left, annoying more than an hour later we witnessed more food being served so presume again that this was down to our nationality as we’d had previous poor experiences in the sports bar as the guy that takes the food orders was clearly not welcoming and frustrated by our order (which was basic), we then went to the ice cream bar which had run out off all flavours and same with the coffee shop cake selection, at the end off the night the kids were still hungry so we went to the shop to buy them some snacks to find they had closed the doors 15 minutes early The pools are lovely However the chlorine ration is clearly wrong as it stained the clothing yellow, their is also a yellow stain around the edges off the main pool which I guess is the same thing, The entertainment team was really good and the kids really enjoyed the weekly foam party, Housekeeping were very good also and did a great job maintaining the rooms, The shuttle bus in theory is a great service however their is no line management in place and again like the buffet is utter carnage, we witnessed multiple arguments at these bus stops as the rudeness and behaviour of other guests is mind blowing, shout out to the drivers though who on occasion let my boys ride next to him in the front and press the horn etc which they loved The beach is obviously struggling from the seaweed increase and this does make an unpleasant smell however they do a great job trying to-remove as much as possible and I don’t believe they can do any more than what they are doing, The report itself is incredible, and is as advertised, the free roaming animals are amazing and my boys loved walking through this area daily to see what was out, In summary on paper this resort is top drawer however the service and food lets it down badly, we felt very uncomfortable and unwelcome at times, as always their were some amazing members off staff, Louis in the snack buffet always made it his mission to come And say hello when he was around and was always lovely to our children, Richard one of the managers in the main food buffet went and got us some meals from one off the restaurants to eat in the buffet on a night the buffet was particularly bad, both individually excellent and a credit to the resort, but unfortunately the bad service massively outweighs the good, We did go and speak to guest services and the TUI rep half way through our holiday and were told we would be contacted by WhatsApp to arrange a meeting with the management but nothing ever came through
