Catalonia Royal Bavaro

We had such a lovely stay at this resort! We stayed in the adults-only section and received a lovely welcome upon arrival. Our room was clean, cool and comfortable, with a beautiful view overlooking the pool. Food & Drink The restaurants are definitely worth trying! Our highlights were Beloved on the beachfront and the seafood restaurant. The buffet was quite repetitive, with very similar choices each day, so I’d definitely recommend booking the themed restaurants in advance to make the most of the variety. The drinks served poolside were fantastic, and the service was amazing! The staff really made the experience extra special. Good to Know 🌴 You have access to the whole resort, including the main family pool, which is great if you fancy a change of scenery. The snack pizza place over on the family side was lovely too! The Beach 🏖️ The beach was quiet and the water was pretty clear. Just be careful on the right-hand side, as there are some sharp rocks further out in the water. Overall, we had a wonderful 5-day stay, and it was such a lovely way to start our holiday! ❤️✨

Amazing we had the best time the staff, service, housekeeping , all absolutely amazing we will definitely come back. The food was delicious all the à la carte restaurants amazing this hotel brand Catalonia I will definitely return to.

Friendly staff and wonderful amenities made this a terrific vacation. We had a Privileged Junior Suite in Villa 36, closest to the beach. Dining options are good, plenty of activities to keep you busy and also quiet places to relax. Ms Maritza at the spa gave a wonderful massage!

We’ve just come to the end of two absolutely amazing weeks on the adults-only side of the hotel, and we honestly don’t want to leave. ❤️🌴☀️ There are some people here who have made our holiday so incredibly special, and we really feel they deserve a huge thank you. The staff in the restaurant on the beach beloved have been absolutely wonderful. Lenny, the restaurant manager, has been simply amazing. From the moment we met him, he made us feel so welcome and looked after. He has such a lovely personality and genuinely cares about his guests. He is one of those people you won’t forget, and we feel so lucky to have met him. Alexa and Michael Jordan have also been absolutely fantastic. They have been so friendly, happy and welcoming every single day. Their smiles, kindness and attention made such a difference to us, and they really did go above and beyond. ❤️ They weren’t just staff to us by the end of our holiday — they became part of the reason we enjoyed our time here so much. It’s amazing how much a friendly face, a smile and a little kindness can mean when you’re away from home, and these three people really made us feel special. Sadly, there were a couple of experiences with other members of staff that did spoil things for us slightly. Elizabeth at the pool bar restaurant, along with the gentleman serving there, were unfortunately extremely rude towards us. It was such a shame, especially because the vast majority of the staff we met were so lovely and helpful. Nobody should leave a holiday remembering how they were made to feel by someone, and this was the one part of our stay that we wish had been different. But overall, we have made some absolutely beautiful memories over the last two weeks, and there are people here who we will genuinely remember long after we’ve gone home. A massive thank you to Lenny, Alexa and Michael Jordan for making our holiday so special. You are a credit to the hotel, and we truly hope the hotel knows just how much you are appreciated. ❤️ We’ll leave with wonderful memories, big smiles and very heavy hearts because we really don’t want to say goodbye. 🥹❤️🌴☀️

When i get there I decided to purchase the gold exclusive member package which cost me 25000 saying I would get treated better and have priority. So I decided to have a friend come over for a night which I was able to I was told so I go to register everything is fine and showered a picture of her passport.. good to go the next evening I go to pay and they tell me security wont let her in. I spend money for this evening and now I have no use for these items. If there was an issue with this person why wouldn't they tell me before hand so I could have tried to work something out. I will never book a vacation at any Catalonia hotels and good luck for them getting the rest of the money for membership.
