Catalonia Royal La Romana

Location. A decent way from the airport. The roads are very well maintained, smooth and safe. Atmosphere. Lovely and peaceful in the whole area, through our the day and evenings, including the small pool areas. There is entertainment on an evening in the main section. Other entertainment/shows are down near the family section each night in the theatre. We were in the 'Adults Only' which is at the top section of the resort, there is a buggy from reception down the side of the resort to the beach, back again by pressing the button next to the seat/shelter. Rooms. Light and airy, new and modern. Double shower. Glass doors with privacy screen. Separate toilet. Glass door with privacy screen. Twin bathroom sinks and mirrors. Wardrobe with sliding doors. Hanging rail and two sets of shelves. Two separate safes. Fridge. Water, cans topped up each day. Kettle. Cups, coffee, sugar. USB plug + normal plug at each side of bed. Plenty of lights including individual reading spotlights at side of beds. Cleanliness. Spotless rooms, very well cleaned each day. New beach towels are changed each evening in our rooms. The gardens and pools are amazing, well kept and maintained daily All restrants are clean and spotless, cutlery, server's, food counters are 5* Noise Level. Our visit was truly calm and pleasent but it will depend on the clientel you share your holiday with. Service. (On the whole resort there is only two people who let the staff/service teams down! Blah humbug to them!! they work in the restaurant near the beach !!!!! ) ❤️💯❤️😻 The rest are SO amazing in EVERY way possible. A very VERY special thank you to TAO CAT restaurant. The beach is the highlight of this place, followed by the excellent service of most of the employees. Restaurant are very good but there is room for improvement.

Mariolis, Carlos, Angelo, Cristopher, Fernando, William and Darling make an excellent job are very attentive and make everyone having a great day ! Thanks for everything :)

Been here 1 week with 1 more week to go. Enjoy a couple of mudslides in the afternoon. Just been told I am no longer allowed them as Baileys is only for privelidged guests all of a sudden. This is not acceptable.

Nice location, great beach, Johnny and Angel on the Entertainment team are the best. Hotel super clean and modern, love it.
