The young folks under 50 will have a blast! The variety of activities and night life will be exciting. For me - over 55 - enjoyed the beautiful beach all day long - walking and bathing - and that was more than sufficient for me.

This resort is a beautiful place to host your wedding. The food was 6-7/out of 10 not bad it was edible. I stayed in the preferred King Bed Pool suite view it was nice I had a butler. And in the preferred Adults only section we had our own special check in bar and snacks in the check in area. Beautiful resort. Only recommendation if you set up a time with your butler to have the cleaning crew clean your room every morning while you are out for Breakfast or to the beach.

We recently returned from a family vacation at Dreams Macao Beach. Overall, we had a wonderful time together, although the resort experience itself had some highs and lows. We’d rate our stay a 7/10. First, the standout of our entire vacation was our butler, Manuel! He was absolutely exceptional. Attentive, responsive, personable, and incredibly easy to communicate with. He assisted with dinner reservations, checked in on us regularly, and genuinely made us feel like we were the only family he was taking care of. He went above and beyond to make our stay special. Manuel is a tremendous asset to this resort! Our accommodations and check-in experience: We originally reserved a Preferred Club swim-out suite with two queen beds. Unfortunately, the room assigned to us faced the neighboring construction. The alternative offered was a king-bed swim-out suite with cots for our children, which was not an acceptable substitute for the two queen beds we had reserved. We ultimately decided to upgrade to a villa. The resort did offer a discount from the published rate, but the upgrade still cost an additional $450 per night. While we appreciated the discount, we were disappointed to feel that we needed to spend significantly more to secure accommodations that met our family’s needs. That said, the villa itself was fantastic! It was incredibly spacious, comfortable, and ultimately perfect for our family of four. We thoroughly enjoyed the extra room. The only downside was its distance from the main resort amenities, which meant quite a bit of walking. We also experienced no noticeable disruption from the neighboring construction. What we loved: The Preferred Club pool was hands down our favorite area of the resort. It was never overly crowded, had a wonderful atmosphere, and offered fantastic views overlooking the lower pool. We felt the Preferred Club upgrade was worthwhile for the additional access. Our children loved the water parks, and the taco truck was a huge hit! Coco Café deserves special recognition. The ice cream was outstanding, and the service was consistently wonderful. It became one of our favorite places at the resort, and we genuinely thought the ice cream and hospitality were among the best we’ve experienced. Housekeeping and evening turndown service were timely and reliable throughout our stay. Food and drinks: The food was about a 6/10 for us. Some things were excellent, particularly the hibachi, ice cream, and freshly made crepes at breakfast. Other offerings, including the burgers and breakfast buffet omelets, were disappointing. Overall, the food was inconsistent rather than universally good or bad. We also found the alcoholic drinks to be fairly weak. Where the resort could improve: Although housekeeping was timely, the villa’s overall cleanliness could have been better. The showers in particular needed a thorough deep cleaning. Service was also inconsistent. Some employees were warm, welcoming, and eager to help, while others seemed uninterested in assisting guests. We were disappointed that there was no champagne welcome, particularly as Preferred Club guests. We also didn’t love the Preferred Club beach area, as the seating was positioned farther back from the ocean than we would have preferred. Our biggest complaint: the vacation club sales pressure. This was by far the most frustrating part of our stay. The vacation club representatives were extremely persistent, and their high-pressure sales approach made us feel borderline harassed. It nearly ruined the beginning of our vacation. We came to relax and spend time together as a family, not to repeatedly navigate uncomfortable sales conversations. This is something management should seriously reconsider, as it detracts from the overall guest experience. Would we return? Possibly, but we would want to experience other resorts before returning to Dreams Macao. The resort has some wonderful amenities, especially for families, and our villa ultimately worked out beautifully. The Preferred Club pool, water parks, Coco Café, and most importantly, Manuel, made our stay memorable. We left with wonderful family memories, but there were enough disappointments that we couldn’t rate the resort higher than a 7/10. Special thanks again to Manuel. He truly made the difference!
