Dreams Onyx Resort & Spa

Very disappointing stay. The rooms are outdated, the hot tubs were dirty, and the shower heads were broken. The night staff seemed uninterested in helping, and the pools closing at 6 PM was far too early. There were also no adult activities or entertainment, making the resort feel dull in the evenings. Overall, not the experience we expected and wouldn't return.

The resort has gone downhill! The grounds could use better upkeep and the food was not up to what we have previously experienced. The beach has seaweed but they try to keep it clear . The water at the beach is filled with seaweed and very smelly. Would not advise going into the water. Did I say that the food sucked! Except for the steakhouse which was good and the Buffett was average. The Italian, except for the pizza, and French restaurants are not worth going to.

This was our second time at Dreams Oynx and it didnt disappoint us. From arrival with a glass of Champagne and getting the front desk getting our rooms together you couldn't ask for more. The rooms were brilliant and spotless. Housekeeping was brilliant. Barman at the pool Jeffrey remembered us from last year which was nice. The staff in general were brilliant could not have been nicer or as they put it excellenty. Plenty of sunbeds and pool area spotless. Loved the night they did the food outside it was a changed and it was all.cooked to order. Only problem we had was the girls in the gift shop could do with some of your other staff manners and be more polite to customers rather than chatting away between themselves Not good customer service

The best Butler. Was always available. Great communication and friendly. Handled every request promptly and with professionalism. Hope hes our Butler again for our next trip!!

Large family vacation this year & we chose Dreams Onyx for our resort stay. Absolutely beautiful location. GREAT food & even better staff. Sargassum season was in full effect but kids loved the water park pool. Our Butler, Rafael was nothing short of amazing! Went above & beyond in every aspect. Couldn't recommend enough to request his services if you can. Also shout out to our allstar server Edwin. Took care of us both days on the beach for hours.
