Dreams Royal Beach Punta Cana

Great overall experience. We went in the fall, the resort was quiet and the staff were amazing. Rooms were fresh and clean, great F+B experience overall, and the beach and pools are great!

We want to express our heartfelt gratitude to our amazing butler Roberto for making our stay so special & memorable. Your kindness, thoughtfulness, warm personality and exceptional service went above and beyond our expectations. You made us feel so welcome. Thank you for all the little things you did that meant so much to us. We were very surprised & thrilled to see a beautiful mini birthday cake in our room for Kelly's celebration plus it was delicious! We also loved the pink/white balloons and "Happy Birthday" banner that was set up at our private cabana, which was amazing! Roberto is a true gem, and Dreams Royal Beach is so fortunate to have him! Please know how much we appreciate you and everything you did to make our vacation so wonderful.

Absolutely loved this resort. Beautiful location, lovely staff and great vibes. Also, the mangrove on the resort is a bird and wildlife lovers dream. We had a great time!!

Just returned from our 2 week holiday to this resort. I cannot rate this highly enough, hands down the best all inclusive I have visited. The grounds were beautifully kept, tropical gardens and the stunning bridge across the mangroves where you can view so much wildlife. We were at the new preferred section and it was so quiet and peaceful, never any problem finding sunbeds/cabana, most of the time there were only one or two families in the pool area during our first week, slightly busier the second week just before uk half term but still no sunbed wars! Food is amazing at all the restaurants, such a bonus to be able to walk into whichever you choose without having to make reservations, we never had to wait at all. The theatre in the evening was nice, most of the shows fine for a bit of light entertainment. Beach clean and again, easy to grab a sunbed, vendors no issue, just a no thankyou works fine. Nice little walk along the beach to local shops. Loved every minute of our holiday and will definitely return. All the staff are great but must mention Marcello as a brilliant concierge and the two guys at the preferred pool bar, very friendly, always chatty and keeping drinks flowing!

The property was beautiful. Clean and well cared for. Staffed really well. But there was a huge discrepancy (+6,000) in the wedding bill just hours before the event. It was finally settled after retrieving the contract and contacting the coordinator. But they kept trying to get the groom "just pay it now and we will work it out later." How many people does that actually work on? That is a big detail here and I am going to skip the rest - there were MANY moments that we felt they would have taken advantage if we weren't paying extra close attention. That does not make for a relaxing vacation. Its also a little strange that they have an app, they have technology, but we are still using little paper card receipts that apparently you are supposed to keep out of your bag when you leave the hotel to get into your transport to the airport. It was weird and a little chaotic. Get the app going, arrivals, rooms ready messages (we had to keep walking up to the lobby to see if housekeeping had completed our room yet), check outs, spa appointments, excursions, dinner reservations, and make everyones life a little easier and certainly a bit more organized.
