Had a great time in SPA. Deep tissue massage is worth every minute. Suggest to do a morning yoga and then relaxing time. Gracias!

Hello, We just come back from an 7 night stay here, October 26 There is definitely pros and cons to this hotel, like with many others. Hotel is beautiful so many flowers trees, birds fish, my son loved the peacocks walking around and they was so friendly he could feed them from his hand. We upgraded to level on arrival, so I can’t say what our room was like before , It’s cost USD 240 per room not a person we had two rooms with 5 people in total. Rooms was big, Clean and well stocked Mini fridge on arrival, after that, We had only water stocked in Mini fridge (we was told with Level it would be well stocked every day, it wasn’t) No coffee or milk left after the 1st day either We also had a problem with our shower it was only Lukewarm, that’s ok for my hubby but I like an hot shower. Our roof leak as well, didn’t cause much as a issue but if you didn’t know, it could be a nasty fall, (we did report) We had a lovely garden view, our kids rooms was perfect no complaints at all, No bed bugs found at all 🫣 Beach/main pool, We found ok, we didn’t like the beach as every two mins you had someone trying to sell you something or get you to buy a trip, we only went once. Main pool by the beach, again the staff at the pool who sell excursions do no take no for a answer, back and forth to you every 10 minutes , bars ok down that end, We only use this pool twice as We was just wasn’t left alone at all. Level private pool was amazing, so quiet, no one trying to sell you stuff, waiting service, take my hat off to them, when your glass was empty they was there, (this is before tipping) Riviera Restaurant was the best please to eat and get drinks upgrading to level was worth it just for this place, bar staff there was amazing, the entertainment staff was great, I can’t remember names so will add pics. Pool could do with some work, lots of tiles missing and my son did cut his foot. Main restaurant was as good, Breakfast was hit & miss again staff was great with coffee, water & champagne on tap” We only used this one for breakfast. Steak restaurant was ok, I didn’t enjoy my meal as it was over cooked but the other 4 in my party loved it. Mexican again great Japanese Was our favourite of the week. Great staff great food, we was told by our concierge that it wasn’t included but it is, you only have to pay if you want them to cook in front of you. We wasn’t bothered by this, Italian, We didn’t enjoy at all any of us, Service rubbish. “Spa was ok, was a bit cold for me, but great experience, Our concierge was rubbish as well, said he be there all week for what we needed, all He was interested in was getting us to a meeting to get his commission, He tried to getting us to a meeting on our first day, we said maybe, we didn’t turn up as we wanted to look around, he personally came looking for us, we was on the beach, why didn’t you come? I get commission, he would not leave us alone. We said we wound come without children, he said no you all need to be there. We said ok he said it would take 15 mins at the most. We got put in a room waiting, 10 mins nothing. I then walked out with my family and so No this ain’t going to happen, We not going to sit in a room waiting for a speech to buy something while we are on holiday, To his he threw his arms in the air and walked off. We didn’t hear form him again. Reception staff was pretty rude to be honest. Most waiting staff was great some was rude but they way they was spoken to by some people, I don’t blame them. We did to a trip chill out it was ok I’ve been on better for the price, it was £333 GBP for 5 people, snorkelling was rubbish as it was so choppy, Swimming with sharks was a wasted of time as water was not clear at all, dolphins you got 2 seconds with beach they took you to Was dirty and just wanted you to buy photos. So wouldn’t recommend. We have a had a great week here with some great times with the staff. I do think a holiday is what you make it.

Hotel itself and the grounds are beautiful and are well looked after - that is im afraid where the positivity ends. The food has to be the worst food we have ever had from an all inclusive resort, nothing was fresh and every meal bar 1 we ate was cold. Even when ordering fries from the pool bar, they were cold. How do you have cold fries that are cooked to order? Al a cartes, we had the same experience. Cold food. It really is beyond me. There was little variety, breakfast had to be the worst, felt as if we were eating at lunch with the choices on offer. We did upgrade to the level after 1 night in a " deluxe room" as it was so dated, 2 beds for 3 adults and 1 child - unsure how this is meant to work? The toilet also didnt flush which was great! The level room was much nicer and spacious, however I feel this is the standard you should recieve anyway, not after paying for an upgrade. The pool at the level was good and lovely and quiet, although a lot of tiles missing and jacuzzis were not working. We did use the splash pool which was great for children and wasnt too busy. The entertainment in the evening was super disappointing. The lobby area cannot seat many at all therefore was difficult to relax and watch anything! I wish in hindsight I read the reviews more carefully on here. Alot of the 5 star reviews are for individual services e.g the spa or certain restaurants. Bring mosquito/bug repellent, between a family of 4 we have over 200 bites. Very much over priced for what it is. Good location as not a long transfer although id personally travel further to get a nicer hotel. Disappointing overall, we expected better from Melia

If you go to the resort, check out the spa. The service is delightful and you will love it.

## Why I Would Not Recommend This Resort Having considered our experience throughout our stay, I would unfortunately not recommend this resort to friends, family or other holidaymakers\. Our disappointment extended far beyond one or two isolated problems\. There were repeated failures across almost every aspect of the holiday\. **Accommodation:** The deluxe room we had booked and paid for was unavailable on arrival\. We were placed in an unsuitable family room, forced to share one bed, and faced unacceptable cleanliness standards and faulty facilities\. We then had to repeatedly chase reception before receiving our booked room after 6pm the following day\. **Communication and customer service:** Communication from both the hotel and TUI was consistently poor\. Important information was not provided, promises were made but not fulfilled, and I spent six out of our seven holiday days contacting TUI online and speaking with the hotel representative to try to resolve ongoing problems\. **Food and hygiene:** The buffet restaurant offered a very poor choice of food, and flies were regularly present around the dining area\. The overall food experience fell well below our expectations\. **Drinks and all\-inclusive arrangements:** There was considerable confusion over which drinks were included, inconsistent pricing for additional drinks and requests for cash payments\. This was not the straightforward all\-inclusive experience we had paid for\. **Construction work:** Our family, staying in room 2708, were subjected to construction work in the neighbouring block\. Noise and dust affected their balcony, with dust covering clothes left out to dry\. Guests should be made aware of building work before being allocated accommodation in such close proximity\. **Lack of care and attention:** My suitcase arrived soaking wet, leaving my clothes wet inside\. Despite reporting this to TUI online and in person, no satisfactory resolution was provided\. **External vendors and questionable sales practices:** We also encountered concerns involving vendors operating around the resort, including what we considered misleading sales practices\. This added to our discomfort and did not contribute to the safe and relaxing environment we had expected . The only staff member from customer relations Fitzgerald was very supportive and helpful in this matter and following up on the situation- he logged the complaint with the hotel - **Overall experience and compensation:** Despite repeatedly raising our concerns, the promised goodwill gesture from the hotel was never delivered\. The eventual offer of just £50 from TUI was wholly inadequate when considered against the cumulative problems and the significant loss of enjoyment of our holiday\. A holiday should be an opportunity to relax, enjoy good food, comfortable accommodation and quality service\. Instead, we spent much of our seven days dealing with complaints, chasing staff, trying to obtain basic services and resolving problems that should never have occurred\. The resort fell considerably short of the standards we expected, and TUI’s handling of our complaints did little to restore our confidence\. Sadly, based on our experience, I would not recommend this resort\. I would also strongly advise anyone considering booking to look carefully at recent guest experiences before committing to what is marketed as a relaxing all\-inclusive holiday\.
