Riu Palace Bavaro

This was my second time visiting this resort to celebrate my birthday, and once again, I had an amazing experience! From the moment we arrived, everything went smoothly. The check-in process was quick, our room was ready in no time, and the food throughout our stay was absolutely delicious! A special shoutout to Johandy, and Francisco at the Naiboa Bar, who made every single day so much fun and truly unforgettable! Their energy, kindness, and amazing service made our vacation even more special. I also want to recognize Carlitos at the buffet. He was actually our waiter two years ago during our first visit, and seeing him again was such a wonderful surprise! Once again, he went above and beyond, providing outstanding service and making us feel like family. People like him are one of the reasons I love coming back to this resort! There are just a few small things I would love to see improved. The bathroom could have been cleaned a little more thoroughly, and I was hoping for a birthday room decoration like the one I received during my previous visit two years ago. That little touch would have made my birthday even more special. I also really enjoyed the room service, although I would love to see a few more breakfast options, such as omelets or toast. But honestly, these are just minor suggestions because overall, we had an incredible time! The food, the atmosphere, the staff, and the entire experience were wonderful. Even if I don’t return for another two or three years, this will always be a resort I highly recommend. Thank you for another unforgettable birthday vacation! ❤️🌴

Was brilliant Room was immaculate fridge topped up daily. Serving staff were very friendly especially Santa in reception and caracco around the pool. Reception staff were miserable and not interested. The speciality restaurants were great the buffet was sometimes really nice but once it was really poor. Saturdays are very busy and the restaurant is massively packed out and didn’t even get served a drink. The pool was great up until the last 4 days where about 4 different groups had their own speakers so loudly competing with volume with the bars music. No staff challenged this either. We ended up moving to another pool. I have been to other RIU hotels and to say this is a palace there wasn’t much difference. Overall was lovely but big groups of loud idiots let the place down.

Generally very well satified. However as Diamond member came same place last year and Elite Club lady said they had messed up and we should have been in an elite room and if came again, would be upgraded to Elite Room.On arriving not given an Elite Room, informed no availablility. However found round the pool that others at same time got elite rooms and even one not diamond Club member given a swim up room.so that was disappointing. Also a lot of RIu Club Memebers not receiving gifts entitled to automatically and having to ask for them which some found unfortunate.. Food and drinks all very good selection but some could have been served a bit hotter. Noticed from previous visits a larger percentage of staff not able to speak or understand English.Had very good holiday and would probably stay again.

I was not too impressed with the food. It should not taste like just food it should have the Dominican Cuisine taste!!! That what is expected when visiting DR. You need seasoning in your food.. It was just absolutely to blend and you should have other thing drinks like why diet Pepsi the whole time I mean what happened to Coca-Cola your hotel next-door had Coca-Cola and I don’t drink diet anything so that was not a good thing.

Hotel is spot less rooms are spotless food is amazing over all a 5 star experience my only problem is the staff we are white english but I found if you not afro carrabean they didn't seem to have any time for you the entire time I was there all I got was a very abrut I do not speak English then ignored which was a shame because the hotel was amazing I found the staff in the la yola swim up bar where the most ignorant just completely ignored you overall hotel 5 , staff 2.5
