Amazing experience with the best bulter the resort had to offer, Albert, the service was top notch and staff friendly and helpful. Everything you need on one site, plenty of food choice and pools, a very relaxing holiday with no worries. The rooms were great, a little rough here and there but overall a very enjoyable experience!

Very nice resorts with lots of things to do. Disappointed because the pool & hot tub was closed down daily at 6pm. Also the hot tub was hot. The drinks were good and the staff was nice and friendly. The food was ok but the breakfast has lots of options to choose from. Lunch options were very limited during the day. Overall an ok resort.

Just returned from a brilliant 2 week holiday in this hotel. We chose DC as it was our wedding anniversary and thought we would treat ourselves. We were quite anxious after reading mixed reviews on the hotel. However, we were so pleased we decided to take a chance as we had an amazing time. We had Angelo assigned as our Butler and he was fantastic. Nothing was too much trouble for him. He booked all our evening meals at the various al-a-carte restaurants for every night. We mentioned that our minibar had not been stocked up and within ten minutes we were fully stocked. He also surprised us, one day we returned to our room to find that it had been decorated for our Wedding Anniversary. He also mentioned we were entitled to a hydrotherapy session and he arranged this as well. So thank you Angelo for making our stay so memorable. We were pleasantly surprised by the evening entertainment. With dancing from Michael Jackson, singing from Beyoncé and Adele. The food in the al-a-carte restaurants was very good. We only used the buffet restaurant for one evening and two breakfasts but there was plenty to choose from. The lazy river was great fun and a visit to dips on the way round is a must. We did take our own inflatable hammocks. All the staff were amazing, friendly, helpful and great fun. Richard and Stephanie in the Ocean Side restaurant were lovely as were Alexander and Joaquin in the DC swim up bar. There are a few renovations going on at the moment, but they have to do them at some time and they try to block off so it's not to much of an inconvenience to anyone. One disappointment for us was the Rio restaurant was closed. I think it opened a day after we left! Some of the general areas are in need of TLC so for this reason I would say the hotel is not 5 star as listed, more a 4 star. However, this did not impact our holiday in any way, we had a fantastic time.

We thought the hotel was really lovely. I would 100% recommend diamond club it was so worth it. The pool area is much nicer the butler service is a great addition - hassle free and really attentive. Our butler was Jorge and he was amazing! Spoke to us every day or came and saw us and nothing was too much trouble. We liked the evening entertainment too and it had a nice atmosphere. There was lots of negative reviews before we went but I wish I never worried at all. Our room was super clean and kept that way for the full 2 weeks. The grounds are well looked after and impressive. We went in the lazy river and flow rider everyday (included in diamond club) we would definitely return and we would always want to do diamond club and request Jorge …. He is a credit to the hotel!

Overall experience was good, facilities are good, food was excellent, staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms need a bit of attention (some of the accommodation blocks were being renovated, so I take it this is being sorted). We would stay again. Massive shout out to our butler Albert who made our holiday that little bit more special.
