Royalton Bavaro Resort & Spa

During low season a few of the restaurants and amenities were closed, however, despite that the trip was excellent. Huge thanks to Luis and Walter for their hospitality - their customer service was amazing!

First, many bad reviews were written. Most complaints are warranted. The staff that went above and beyond, Kelvin, Stephany, Steven, Jorge, Carlos and Ruben. The room developed a sewer backup during our stay and it was not properly addressed on our first two complaints. Moved to a new room after the third. Hunters is not a true steakhouse with out included prime steak options. A fatty ny strip and a flank do not constitute a steak house. A la carte at zen was a joke. 90 min no drink or food. Grazie is as expected. The buffet has many options. Breakfast is the best meal. The grounds are fantastic. Most of the staff is perfect. Shows are worth the time. Pools are clean and warm. Two bad dinner experiences and the sewer back up taint a wonderful week. Again. Kelvin is amazing.

Our family had a wonderful time at the Royalton Bavaro. Our trip was made even more enjoyable by Luis our assigned butler. He promptly responded to our questions and made all the reservations for us. He was very friendly and we had some pleasant conversations. Thank you Luis and I highly recommend him.

Angel & Frank are very friendly! I feel safe around them, and you can trust both of them. Their drinks are really good, and I can assure you that you’ll have a great time! Please make sure you go see them, let them know Akyrah sent you, and show them the picture. See you in July 2027, Angel! My guy!

Horrible experience. I would give this resort zero stars if I could. Cockroaches in the hotel, dirty rooms, inattentive staff, and no housekeeping during our stay. Definitely would not recommend.
