Royalton CHIC Punta Cana Resort & Spa

Check in took longer than expected. Check out went smoothly. Enjoyed staff especially Juan and fitness instructor and quality entertainment. Restaurants were very good but few reservations available. Buffet always available and nice variety of food. Need more umbrellas by pool. Location on beach paradise In summary, would highly recommend. Enjoyed my stay. Thank you.

In the past we’ve done a number of all-inclusive resort and several stays have been at other Royalton locations, booked through Sunwing and I must say that our stay at Royalton Chic Punta Cana was by far one of our best resort experiences. It was my husband and I and another couple and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay from the moment we arrived until the day we left, largely in part because of the outstanding service received from Omar, our Butler for the week. We were incredibly grateful for the attention to detail and the high level of service that he provided us with. He was always available through WhatsApp and made a point to personally meet with us several times, throughout the day, to ensure that all of our needs were being met. He took care of booking our dinner reservations, he informed us of all upcoming activities and shows, I could go on and on but simply put, he truly went above and beyond. I would also like to mention that we enjoyed beach every day, largely because of another individual that truly made our week special, German, the Diamond Club beach butler. I'd also like to mention that our room was always lovely and clean and well stocked. The restaurants were fine, in particular the sushi at Pescari (however, they could work on dimming the overhead lighting for a more intimate experience) The buffet was great for breakfast and lunch, food was fresh and replenished as needed. I must say that the Diamond Club Lounge is in a fantastic location…close to the pools and always offered assorted nibbles and drinks, however, Hennessy is something that my husband has always been able to get at other Royalton DC lounges but unfortunately, it was not stocked here. It was only available at the lobby bar for an additional cost but I feel that it should be included with the Diamond Club package. The pools were clean and nicely situated, although we opted for the beach each day but the pool area is very hot and could use more umbrellas. Yes, there are areas of the hotel that do need some attention with a touch of paint here and there, the public washrooms…like the ones near the pools, do need to be updated, etc but it was evident during our stay that they are working on addressing many of these minor issues. The bottom line is that we truly enjoyed ourselves and because the level of service was so exceptional and we were made to feel so special, we are already planning on returning in the fall!!

The Royalton CHIC was located on a lovely beach and had many entertainment options, both day and night. The staff was very pleasant but lots of time they couldn't help us with our requests. Unfortunately there were only 4 restaurants, one being Indian. So it was difficult to get dinner reservations. We were told to use the app but there was never anything available. The resort is old and there are many small steps around the property. So many people in our party were falling or tripping on these steps. The floors were very slippery. The main pool was deep so any persons 5feet 5 inches or less had difficulty standing in the pool. The resort needed more umbrelllas by the pool. We had to rent cabanas for an additional cost so we could stand in the pool with the cabanas.

Greydin at the Royalton Chic 10/10 best in the industry. The whole experience was amazing, highly recommend this resort.
