Royalton CHIC Punta Cana Resort & Spa

We had a great time. The staff was amazing. The food was delicious and the drinks hit the right spot. The entertainment was not so bad but the crew was great.

We had a wonderful experience at the Royalton Chic. From the moment we walked it the staff was inviting and very friendly. We got a Presidential Suite and we were both very pleased with our accommodations. A bonus perk was that our room came with Butler service. Lowarski was phenomenal. He quickly made our diner reservations for the week, assisted with Spa info and any other needs or questions that we had. As a special touch he even prepped our jetted tub and laid out some rose petals for our anniversary. He definitely made our experience better. Overall the resort was lovely and we’d happily return.

The rooms need some upgrades, but the hotel staff makes the whole experience fabulous. The foam parties are the best. Kimberly is excellent; she really turned our experience around. The Indian restaurant is the best.

My experience at Royalton CHIC Punta Cana was fantastic for the most part! From arrival to departure, the hospitality and service were truly top-tier. While the resort offers a great atmosphere and beautiful accommodations, the employees are what made my stay memorable. I booked through Marriott under the Diamond Club selection, and it was absolutely worth it! From the separate check-in process to having a dedicated butler who handles dinner reservations, answers questions, and assists throughout your stay, the personalized service makes a difference. A special shoutout to my butler, Roberto Ventura! Man, oh man! Roberto was phenomenal! Upbeat, personable, detail-oriented, and genuinely committed to making my stay unforgettable. He was always attentive, proactive, and willing to assist with whatever I needed. His energy and exceptional hospitality truly elevated my experience. If you’re fortunate enough to have Roberto as your butler, you’re in excellent hands! I stayed in a swim-out pool room overlooking the main pool area, which offered a great balance of relaxation and entertainment. I’d also be remiss if I didn’t recognize Freily and Manuel (aka Fresh Prince)! These gentlemen were fantastic! Their personalities, hospitality, and attentiveness made me feel genuinely welcomed and appreciated throughout my stay. They certainly understood the assignment! Now, let’s talk about the food! The lasagna at the Italian restaurant was hands down my favorite dish of the entire trip. OH MY GOODNESS! Do yourself a favor and try it! The BLT wraps at the Munchies stand were another favorite and perfect for a quick lunch. I also enjoyed a hydrotherapy session at the spa, which was an incredibly relaxing experience and something I’d highly recommend. One thing worth mentioning for my fellow cognac drinkers: Hennessy is not available at the resort. There are other liquor selections, so it wasn’t a dealbreaker, but definitely something to know beforehand. Overall, Royalton CHIC delivered a wonderful experience. The accommodations, atmosphere, and Diamond Club amenities were great, but the exceptional staff truly set this resort apart. Roberto, Freily, and Manuel — thank you for making my stay memorable! Your professionalism, personalities, and genuine hospitality deserve recognition, and I hope resort leadership recognizes the value you bring. Would I recommend Royalton CHIC Punta Cana? Absolutely! I’d gladly return and look forward to seeing some familiar faces!

Some places give you a vacation. Others -if you are blessed/lucky enough- give you a piece of yourself back. Royalton CHIC Punta Cana gave me both. There are experiences in life that simply cannot be measured by the beauty of a destination, the luxury of a room, or the quality of its amenities. Sometimes, what makes a place truly unforgettable is the people who welcome you into it. And that is exactly what makes Royalton CHIC Punta Cana so extraordinary. From the moment I arrived, the hospitality was nothing short of flawless. Every single member of the staff, without exception, made me feel genuinely welcomed, appreciated, and incredibly fortunate to have the opportunity to share this little piece of paradise with them. I traveled alone, looking for a chance to unwind, recharge, and simply enjoy life for a few days. And what I found was so much more. Life is a roller coaster. It takes us through unexpected turns, difficult moments, beautiful surprises, and everything in between. But every once in a while, even if only for a fleeting moment, everything seems to fall perfectly into place. You breathe a little easier, smile a little more, and, perhaps most importantly, you begin to feel like yourself again. That is exactly what the wonderful people at Royalton CHIC helped me experience. What impressed me most was their remarkable ability to understand the balance between personal space and genuine attentiveness. As a solo traveler, I never once felt uncomfortable, overlooked, or out of place. They gave me the freedom to enjoy my own company while somehow always being there whenever I needed anything. Their kindness never felt forced, their smiles never felt rehearsed, and their willingness to help was simply exceptional. I want to extend a very special and heartfelt recognition to Teudi, who served as my butler during my stay. What a fantastic individual! His professionalism, warmth, attention to detail, and genuine dedication to making my experience memorable deserve the highest praise. Teudi, thank you for everything. You are a wonderful example of what true hospitality should look like, and Royalton is fortunate to have you on its team. The spa deserves its own standing ovation. Absolutely magnificent! A beautiful environment dedicated to relaxation, restoration, and well-being. Every moment felt like an invitation to disconnect from the noise of everyday life and simply enjoy being present. Maribel was incredible and helped me remove something I didn’t even knew it was there with her massage. Truly an expert at what she does. The restaurants, chefs, kitchen teams, servers, bartenders, and everyone working tirelessly behind the scenes were equally outstanding. Their talent, dedication, and attention to their guests were evident in every interaction. Great hospitality is never the work of just one person; it is the result of an entire team that takes pride in what they do. And at Royalton CHIC, that pride shines through beautifully. And then, of course, there is the Dominican Republic itself. The breathtaking ocean, the beautiful beaches, the tropical surroundings, and the warmth of this incredible country’s people are things I sincerely believe everyone should have the opportunity to experience at least once in their lifetime. To the Dominican Republic and its beautiful people: thank you for welcoming me with such open arms. Your kindness, energy, and generosity of spirit are every bit as memorable as your magnificent coastline.
