I am posting this so as you are aware of the issues that can (and have) occur at this site without any concern for your wellbeing on holiday! The main swim up pool has been under repair while we are here on holiday from Monday to Friday the pool was half drained, worked on without any safety considerations nor closure and even caused 2 cases of severe cuts due to materials loose. How do you fancy swimming around building site? When refilled all the various dust, parts of materials etc were seen floating g around! Very poor service and not even a sorry when complaint raised.

We are currently here in Hideaway section. Very pleased with the service in Dorado restaurant on the beach. Carolina - hostess. Real sweetheart. Ernesto - barman . Just great. So sweet. Angel - the cook so polite and accommodating. Cleaning service is good. Lounge hostess is very nice. We highly recommend this resort. We are very pleased.

We stayed at Royalton Punta Cana for the first time to celebrate our anniversary and birthday. As someone with 10 years of hospitality experience, I have pretty high standards when it comes to hotels. Overall, I’d rate the resort around 6.5/10. The grounds and common areas are beautiful, but the rooms and pools are definitely due for some TLC and a deeper clean. Our room was modern and comfortable, but had noticeable dust/build-up, thin walls, and limited outlets. The beds were very comfortable, and the celebration decorations were a nice touch. there were also a noticable amount of ants throughout the resort as well as in our room Service was inconsistent. Luis at the front desk was incredibly helpful and made sure our celebration was acknowledged, while Juan and Randy at guest services were also great with restaurant reservations and helping with any concerns. Outside of these experiences, some restaurant and café staff seemed uninterested. The buffet was actually a highlight! good variety and quality, 8/10. Unfortunately, the à la carte restaurants were a big step down with poor service, mediocre food, and visibly dirty cups. 5/10. we did have a good experience at the hibachi restaurant and is worth noting. the mexican/seafood restaurants, not so much Entertainment kept the resort lively with music, DJs and shows, although I would have liked more activities. The resort also gives you access to Royalton Splash, which is a huge plus and makes it feel like two resorts in one. Wi-Fi was surprisingly good throughout most of the resort, with the exception of the beach. There are also vendors on property, so be prepared for that. Beautiful resort with a lot of potential, but I think some renovations and better attention to detail would make a big difference.

Well having stayed in Sept all I can say is we had a great experience. All staff were great the hotel was clean. Restaurants were also very good including the buffet and Paula made a point of being helpful especially after I had a spell in hospital. Diamond club bar was really good with aircon keeping us cool The customer services guys were fantastic. Helping us get Restaurant bookings ( Juan,) and a really nice guy Nacho stayed with us until the ambulance arrived and made a point of finding us on discharge Quiet pool was relaxing with drinks on demand so would defo recommend the Royalton Hideaway. Most drinks are available even premium spirits.
