Royalton Punta Cana, An Autograph Collection All-Inclusive Resort & Casino

Stayed in the hideaway and went diamond club, was greeted at the main lobby where we were directed to the hideaway check in. Our butler Melqui came to greet us, took us to our room and showed us areas around resort (would highly recommend him if you can). Pools, the hideaway pool was very hit and miss some days it was clear water other days it had a green/yellow slime in the surface. Diamond club pool, is lovely and well maintained. Swim up bar pool, took us a while to get served and little areas of slime again on surface. The bars, we only really used to hideaway bar during the day and the sands beach bar of an evening, johnny who works on the bar at sands is amazing! We would walk round the corner, our drinks would be poured (we just stuck to the same drinks of an evening) and he really couldn’t do enough for you. JP who does the activities around the hideaway bar absolutely loves his job (as he mentions and chance he gets)! The beach, well there isn’t really icy of one left, but if you walk 5/10 mins either side it’s absolutely fine! The food, we didn’t really have much complaints about the food, had one bad meal in dorado but the fish was a little tough, but the ribeye steaks you can not fault, like cutting through butter! The marche buffet had options for everyone even the pickiest of eaters! Zen was a great interactive experience and the food was beautiful. Jade was lovely and the service was brilliant. Italian was a little iffy pastas etc was all cooked well but the pizzas were a little burnt. The steak house was really average I thought. All in all, the staff can’t do enough for you, they’re the brilliant! The hotel could do with some refurb but that’s suppose to be getting done in the next 12 months. If you’ve booked this hotel I’m sure you’ll have a brilliant time as we did!

DO NOT STAY AT THIS RESORT. When I made the reservation through Marriott, I initially had 4 people in our room. A few weeks before our trip in June 2026 I called and booked a second room. We had two people in each room. When we arrived, they said we still had 4 people in our 1st room. We called Marriott reservation asap and they changed it to just two people in each room. So, we would not be charge extra for our 1st room. They even scanned in our passports to show who was in each room. Then when we checked out, they said we had an extra $600 charge because our first room had 4 people in it. Marriott reservation was closed due to it being early in the morning. Our flight was leaving in 3 hours. We had to pay that fee in order to catch our flight. They even said once reservation desk opens up, we can get a refund. But of course, they lied to us. Its ben months going back and forth and they just sent me an email stating they will not refund our money. watch out for this Marriott resort because they will scam you! Also, the food was terrible, our 2nd room was so hot we would sweat while just sleeping in it and we made complaints multiple times and finally on our last night there, they sent someone out to check our room.

Amazing 10 day stay at the Royalton in Punta Cana , spotlessly clean hotel and grounds, staff working tirelessly to ensure Guests are happy , staff extremely friendly and couldn’t do enough for us , always courteous and polite. Whilst at the hotel we stayed diamond Club , Miguel are butler always messaged us every morning with a text to check in on us and made sure we had everything we needed, whilst on holiday one of our friends had trouble with her tooth , Miguel organized getting her to a dentist in Punta Cana and even sorted a taxi to get her there . Thanks so much Miguel for looking after us , you did an amazing job , and he always ensured our preferred restaurants were booked in the evening with us . Amazing holiday with our friends, excellent hotel and weather was hot every day . Would definitely recommend and would definitely return in the future
