We had a wonderful stay at Zoëtry Agua Punta Cana. The resort is beautiful and peaceful, but the staff are what made it special. Wandy was super friendly at check-in and even showed us the scent options for our room. Simeon, our concierge, went above and beyond: he sent champagne and a snack to our room one evening and booked complimentary massages for the morning we left. Carlos and Karina at the lobby bar and Kalvin at the pool bar kept the drinks coming with a smile, and Leidy and Sory gave us great service at the restaurants. Oliver handled our luggage on departure day and made it smooth. We'll be back!

To start off, this is my second Zoëtry experience, with my first being in Curaçao. I have to say, I actually prefer the location of this one. The ambiance, natural beauty, and stunning private beach were absolutely perfect. Tucked away from the busier parts of Punta Cana, this resort is ideal for anyone looking for a truly relaxing, zen-like experience. The property almost feels like a little piece of Hawaii, hidden away in paradise. From the moment we stepped into the beautifully thatched entrance, I knew this place was special. Wandy immediately welcomed us, sat us down comfortably, and made us feel at home. While checking us in, we were greeted with refreshing drinks and cool towels for our necks and backs. Wandy even presented us with different scents to have diffused throughout our room. I loved the entire vibe from the very beginning. Exceptional Concierge Service — Thank You, Simeon! Our concierge approached shortly after and introduced himself as Simeon. What can I say about this man? He’s fantastic. He’s the type of person who makes you feel warm and welcome the moment he greets you with a smile. Simeon was genuinely one of the best concierge professionals I’ve ever encountered. His service was exceptional, and he paid attention to every detail throughout our stay. He remembered my partner’s birthday in advance and arranged a surprise to be delivered to our room. But what really showed the kind of person he is was how he handled things when my partner started feeling ill. I sent Simeon a text, and within five minutes or less, he was at our room. Within about 40 minutes, he had managed to get us flu medicine from a pharmacy off the resort. That level of attentiveness and genuine care is something you don’t forget. There honestly aren’t enough kind words to describe this gentleman. He has a true eye for detail and is clearly at the top of his game. Thank you again, Simeon! The entire staff gave us that warm, welcoming feeling that you sometimes miss back home in the States. I genuinely felt like I was surrounded by family. No matter who you passed on the property, you were greeted with a warm smile and a friendly “¡Hola!” The Food — An Excellent 10/10 Experience The food here was excellent. The resort offers a wonderful blend of Dominican cuisine and other traditional cuisines, all prepared very well. Even room service was consistently impressive. We would receive a lovely call to verify our order before delivery, and I can honestly say they didn’t make a single mistake with any of my requests. I also have to give a big shout-out to Leidy, who works at the Indigo restaurant! She was incredibly sweet, helpful, and generous with her time. She even found time to personally help with room deliveries, which was such a thoughtful gesture. She remembered my room number without me having to repeat it. She’s sharp, attentive, and genuinely in tune with her guests. The overall food experience was fantastic — a solid 10/10. There are so many options that you’ll never feel like you’re eating the same thing every day. From freshly baked pizza prepared right in front of you at the pool bar to the grill sizzling away nearby and the fantastic buffet-style lunch options, there’s something for everyone. I could go on and on! The Bars, Bartenders, and Beach Service — The People Who Made This Trip I had to dedicate a whole section to the bar staff and beach team because they deserve every bit of recognition. From the beginning, Carlos at the main lobby bar was phenomenal. He’s hands down the best bartender and mixologist I’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting. His skills are incredible. He can make anything from a perfectly executed classic martini to an island-inspired passion fruit or coconut martini in a heartbeat. His drinks are amazing, but it’s Carlos himself who made such a huge part of this trip unforgettable. He’s a wonderful person with a beautiful heart, a sharp wit, and the ability to have a conversation with you about just about anything. His English was fantastic, which I especially appreciated since I barely speak Spanish. Somehow, we managed to spend hours having great conversations at the bar. By the end of the trip, Carlos felt like a long-lost friend. This man truly has a heart of gold, and I hope Zoëtry understands just how valuable he is to the resort. Honestly, book the trip just to meet this man alone! LOL. And one more thing: Carlos never forgets a drink order. Tell him how you like your drink once, and he’s got it memorized. Every time after that, he’ll have it just the way you like it without you even needing to ask. God bless you, my friend. She has a smile that could light up a room, and her energy was always warm, bubbly, and welcoming. She’s a wonderful member of the Zoëtry team, and I truly appreciated her kindness. Thank you, Karina! As for our beach experience, I have to give a special shout-out to my amigas, Monica and Yudelky. These ladies were consistently kind and attentive. We’ve never experienced beach service quite like this. They remembered our drinks and were ready with refills before we could even finish our last sips! They were incredibly attentive and detail-oriented, making our time on the beach that much more enjoyable. No matter where we were relaxing, walking, or tucked away along the beach, they always found a thoughtful and friendly way to check in on us. That kind of service makes you feel genuinely cared for rather than just another guest. Thank you, Monica and Yudelky. You ladies were amazing! A True Zen Experience During our stay, we made a conscious effort to slow down, relax, and enjoy every moment. That’s exactly what this trip turned out to be: pure relaxation in paradise. Zoëtry offers beautiful spa and wellness experiences, from hot-towel treatments to sound bowl classes led by a professional. Everything felt peaceful, calming, and thoughtfully designed around relaxation and well-being. I honestly don’t think I felt a single moment of frustration throughout our entire stay. The tranquil atmosphere and wellness experiences Zoëtry provides truly hit the mark. If you’re looking for a place to disconnect from the outside world and simply breathe for a few days, this resort delivers. A Smooth Departure From Start to Finish Before we knew it, our last day had arrived. Once again, everything went smoothly. I’m a stickler for details and organization, and my partner is the same way, so a seamless checkout and departure meant a lot to us. Juan Carlos, who helped us with our bags, was fantastic. As soon as we had everything ready, he was outside our room, prepared to take our luggage to the lobby. He was all smiles, jokes, and good humor. We really appreciated his personality and the way he made even the last part of our stay enjoyable. Simeon had also effortlessly arranged our transportation to the airport the day before. We enjoyed a beautiful lunch, and we needed to be at the car by 1:30 p.m. Our car was already waiting at the lobby by 12:45 p.m. Everything was organized ahead of time, and there was absolutely no stress or travel anxiety. From arrival to departure, the entire experience was seamless. Final Thoughts — The Best Vacation I’ve Ever Had Thank you to everyone at Zoëtry Agua Punta Cana for such a wonderful experience. The resort itself is beautiful. The beach is stunning, the atmosphere is peaceful, the food is excellent, and the wellness experiences are exactly what you’d hope for from a luxury getaway. But if there’s one thing I want people reading this review to take away, it’s this: the staff are what truly make this resort exceptional. Wandy, Simeon, Leidy, Carlos, Karina, Monica, Yudelky, Juan Carlos, and the countless other team members who welcomed us with kindness made this feel like so much more than another vacation. They made us feel at home. They remembered the little things. They went out of their way to help us. Most importantly, they made us feel like people they genuinely cared about, not just guests passing through. I’ve stayed at beautiful places before, but it’s the people who turn a beautiful destination into an unforgettable experience. This was honestly the best vacation I’ve ever had, and the staff are the reason why. Thank you, Zoëtry Agua Punta Cana. We’ll be back!

As repeat guests who have been to Zoetry Agua Punta Cana several times, we were excited for this latest trip, and it certainly didn't disappoint. The recent remodel is fantastic; it successfully addresses previously outdated items while carefully preserving the resort's signature character and charm. Like anywhere in the Caribbean, nature plays its part—we dealt with some heavy seaweed for a few days, but the staff did an impressive job cleaning it up daily to keep the beach looking great. Similarly, mosquitoes were a bit troublesome in the early mornings, though they noticeably improved once the wind picked up during the day. Overall, it remains a peaceful, beautiful escape, and we are already looking forward to our next return visit!

This resort was amazing! We have never stayed at this resort brand before, so we did not know what to expect. This resort blew our expectations out of the water. It was such a clean, quaint, and calm resort. The staff was extremely helpful and personable. It was nice not having to make reservations for dinner or not having to fight for spots on the beach. Overall, we were VERY pleased with this stay, and will definitely be coming back!
