Movenpick Resort Lamantin Saly

The quality of service and the setting fully met my expectations. My sincere thanks to the entire staff for their professionalism. Special mention to Gamou for her remarkable welcome, great availability, and kindness throughout my stay.

Wonderful Stay with family ,😘

We had a good time at the Lamantin. The beach area is very nice and the service was friendly. The rooms were clean. I stayed on a houseboat. Bed was comfortable but not a huge amount of space for 2 in the room. And at night, the entertainment from the hotel (and some nights, the one next to it) is extremely loud. Don't try going to bed early! Food: great spread at breakfast but became extremely busy when the hotel filled up. Long queues for some food. Sometimes there were no tables though the staff did their best to make space. The other restaurant does lunch though it is European prices+ for fairly average fare. Alcohol is also European prices. There is no where local to go and eat instead. We went to Saly by Taxi for evening meals a couple of times (which were good) but you will be hassled a lot in the town. All the hustlers seem to be multi-lingual. The evening buffet in the hotel is decent but expensive if not part of your package. The atomosphere was pleasant in the hotel and the evening entertainment was lively. Jet skis are available. Drinks and food can be brought to you on the beach but don't expect anything to come quickly. An enjoyable trip and experience but the European prices for accomodation and food seem hard to justify.
