Raffles Seychelles

After a long journey, we were greeted by a beautiful, spacious villa. Buggy service was super helpful, within minutes we were picked up by friendly staff (special shout out to Jean Ves and Ricky) huge thanks to Vimal for going over and above with cleaning our villa and for the special evening treats. Hotel was going through a refurbishment, so did experience noise when by the pool. Was great seeing the tortoises on the resort, great experience feeding them. Fab breakfast options, theme nights were very beef centric, but the Exec Chef prepared a separate meal for us which was fantastic. Special thanks to Abdul, Neha, Apritum, srujan and Shivdayal.

We spent two weeks over New Year in this resort. We stayed in a beautiful villa on the hill, surrounded by the beautiful vegetation, with full ocean view from the master bed room as well as from the bathroom, including a large terrasse and a small private pool. The servicing of the villa was outstanding. The beach area was very well maintained and serviced. Considering an almost full hotel, we never had an 'overcrowded' feeling. Snorkeling conditions and the maritime life at the house reef were exceptional. The quality and the variety of the food (especially the different buffet sessions) in all the restaurants was stellar. We also enjoyed a complimentary wine and cheese tasting hosted by Apratim, which was an amazing experience. In general we felt highly taken care of by the whole team, the chef Frank, Sufiyan (thank you for going the extra mile all the time), Laurent and Elvira, just to mention a few wonderful souls. We had a lovely dinner at The Sushi Room on our last night in Praslin. We weren’t guests of the hotel, but they treat us so good. They knew we are in our honeymoon, so they arranged a special, candlelit table for us and surprised us with a complementary dessert at the end 🤍 Boid & Srujan made sure to treat us with kindness and care and we are very grateful for their service. The food was also really good - my husband’s first experience with sushi, as he is quite skeptical about it. He enjoyed every dish!
