Raffles Seychelles

We just got home after our second stay at Raffles Seychelles. We enjoyed every moment and want to give a special thanks to the guest relations manager, Otman Imzri, for doing everything to make our stay perfect. He even made sure we could stay in the same villas as last year. Also, a big thanks to our butler, Simon, who took care of all the practical things, like booking transport and restaurants.

It all begins with an effortless booking, followed by WhatsApp 📱 exchanges that are smooth, efficient and remarkably responsive. You immediately sense a seasoned team, able to handle any situation, even urgent ones, with calm and professionalism. The welcome was simply exceptional 🤝, and I would like to give special thanks to Yassine for his attentiveness and kindness upon my arrival. 🛏️ The room is flawless: spotlessly clean, perfectly equipped, with service fully worthy of a house of this standing. The staff are consistently gentle, always smiling 😊 and attentive, without ever being intrusive. 🌺 The grounds are stunning, beautifully clean and impeccably maintained. A few tortoises 🐢 wander peacefully through the gardens, adding to the magic of the place. Everyone you meet, from the gardeners to the security team, greets you with a smile, a hello, a kind word. The buggy drivers 🛺 are all incredibly friendly, led by Stefan, the Schumacher of Raffles 🏎️😂🇸🇨! The activities on offer are of excellent quality. A truly enchanted escape 🌅. 🍽️ When it comes to dining, the daily creations are a highlight in themselves: breakfast smoothies 🥭, coconut affogato 🥥, cinnamon latte ☕… every morning brings a new delight. The restaurant staff are simply perfect, warm and smiling: a huge thank you to Ankath, DB, Tasha, Maureen, Neirah and Amir 🙏, who made every one of my meals wonderful. A special mention for the half-board package too: the team always makes a point of mentioning any supplements before you order. A rare courtesy that reflects an honesty and elegance one would love to encounter more often 💎. 🎩 As for the butler service, it deserves a chapter of its own. Othman was there throughout my stay, attending to my every wish, and sometimes my whims, always available, always smiling, always remarkably efficient. He makes everything look so easy it's almost annoying 😄. If there were an Oscar for Best Butler, it would go to him without hesitation 🏆. I recommend Raffles Seychelles with my eyes closed 🙈❤️

We had a wonderful family stay at Raffles Seychelles. A special thank you to Otman, the Guest Relations Manager, whose care and attention made all the difference. Otman was always available, listened carefully to our needs, and went above and beyond to make our holiday perfect. His warm approach and willingness to take care of every detail made us feel truly looked after throughout our stay. He did everything he could to ensure we enjoyed the highest level of comfort and service. Thank you, Otman, for helping make our family holiday so special and memorable!

We went to Raffles as the 2nd stop on our Honeymoon. The place is stunning, we thoroughly enjoyed our trip ! Positives The hotel has just been refurbished so felt very new. The pool area was lovely, and the new restaurants were very clean and modern. Our room was lovely. We had a jungle view, but it was still very spacious. It was slightly dated but it did not bother us. The staff are very very friendly (though slightly incompetent) more on that below. The food and drink offerings are very tasty. Really top class food that exceeded our expectations. Negatives The service is poor for a hotel at this price. There is no WhatsApp service so it's hard to get immediate answers. We had a poor experience with the concierge who could not understand a basic request around Mini Moke rental. We also had a poor experience around the pool, often tables were not cleared which attracted a lot of birds and there was no appetite to do anything about this. I must add the staff are very friendly, they're just not very well trained (in my view). It didn't bother us too much, but for a hotel of Raffles standards they should be better. The restaurants and bars lack atmosphere. They were quiet throughout our stay and not advertised very well. As lovely as they are, we were often sat alone and it felt empty. Eg there is a lovely new bar which is not used by anyone in the evening. I feel this is because people don't know about it? As we were not told, but were guided there one evening as our table wasn't ready for dinner. Overall a great stay, though you would probably expect better service given the Raffles brand.

Travelled all over the world but this hotel and location has ruined our future travel. Hotel is a 10/10. The villas are so luxurious and my favourite part (well that and the buggy’s with their drivers used throughout. Drivers don’t get the credit they deserve- first class and made our journeys so much fun. Always prompt). Our room was well cared for with Gaele (room 154). She went above and beyond what we were used to. Absolutely stunning. Room service was instant, nothing too much and a call away. Pool is getting updated while there but everything looks good. Service, food, drinks and everything is perfect. Only criticism is the main restaurant- service wasn’t up to the high standard of everything else. We miss it already and want to rebook. I don’t think I can do the hotel justice in a review - needs to be on your bucket list for destination and hotel.
