Le Duc de Praslin Hotel & Villas

Really enjoyed the hotel, lovely rooms, we were in the adults only section for our honeymoon which was relaxing. 3 pools but all quite small but it's fine as the sea is right on your doorstep. Shallow sea great for relaxing but less good for swimming. The best part of the hotel was the food and dinner service. The food was honestly some of the best I've had in seychelles, very very tasty and loads of sushi/fish/sashimi if you like that. Definitely would recommend half board. The reception staff were slightly disappointing and not very helpful. We had to wait 3 hours for our room to be ready albeit we did arrive slightly early. Also drinks are not included, you have to pay for water even if you are half board which was slightly disappointing. Dinesh at the restaurant was particularly amazing, he gave Excellent service and a really nice guy! The hotel is lucky to have him!

We had a wonderful stay at Le Duc. Everything was perfect, from our spacious and comfortable room to the excellent dinners at Le Dauphin and the relaxing drinks at Café des Arts. A special thank you to Dinesh, De Silva, and Gabriella for their warm hospitality and attentive service during dinner. Their friendliness and professionalism made our evenings especially enjoyable. Thank you to the entire team for making our stay so memorable. We would be delighted to return.

We had a fantastic time at Le Duc de Praslin! The villa had a lot of room and was graciously stocked with amenities, drinks and snacks. The butler did a great job cleaning and leaving a personal touch on the villa - flower petals and folded towels in the form of animals each day. The grounds are amazing - from the dining area to the gym to the beach bar/lunch area to the beach. Most of all - and what we will remember the most are the staff…! From Robert (owner) walking around daily and getting to know us to Hilda (manager) greeting us on day 1 and making sure to talk to us each day to the amazing staff greeting us - at each meal, drink or just in passing - with a smile, and friendly conversation. Would like to mention Dinesh, Muhammad, Ina, De Silva and Dilshin. All provided great service and leave you feeling like you have met a friend for life. Special! :)

We booked Le Duc expecting nothing special just a nice, above-average hotel, but it completely blew us away. For the first few days we were just walking around speechless with a total "wow" effect. The best place to stay on Praslin and the best value for the money. Location is perfect, right on gorgeous and quiet part white sandy Côte d'Or beach, far from the main road. Tropical gardens are beautiful. At night the whole property lights up with colorful LED lights, which looks incredibly magical. Our room was huge, modern freshly renovated with super comfy king bed, tons of closet space, and a great shower. Everything was always spotless with fresh room and beach towels every single day. The facilities are awesome - there are two infinity pools areas (we loved especially the adults-only area) and a great garden jacuzzi. The food was top-notch in the outdoor buffet and the romantic candlelit dinners right on the sand in ala cárte restaurant. The hotel's motto is "Exceeding your expectations," and it was truly fulfilled. The service is another contribution to what makes this place next-level. A huge thanks to our waiter Dinesh, who treated us like royalty and knew what we wanted before we even asked. Also the owner, Robert, is always walking around chatting with guests and making the whole vibe feel super personal. We originally planned to explore the island every day, but the hotel was so perfect we just ended up chilling there for days. People say life is too short to go to the same place twice, but we are 100% making an exception for this gem. Easily 6 out of 5 stars!
