Mercure Singapore Bugis

Great experience and value. The Mercure Bugis is well worth the stay. Centrally located, surrounded by food outlets, close to MRT and buses. Easy taxi ride. Great staff and facilities. Just had a wonderful experience. Staff were very helpful and thoughtful. Enough so I sent the Hotel GM a personal note.

We had an incredible experience with Mercure Singapore Bugis for our wedding Lunch! ​A huge thank you to Priscilla from Catering and Alvin from Banquet. Priscilla was wonderful throughout the planning process, and Alvin along with the banquet team were exceptionally professional on our actual day. They were proactive, attentive, and kept us constantly updated on every detail so we never had to worry. Food on actual day is as good as food tasting, all my guest love the food! ​Thanks to their dedicated support, everything ran super smoothly from start to finish. I visit Singapore regularly to teach intensive academic courses. This was my first time staying in Mercure Bugis and, overall, the impression was positive. The location is great, specifically for me but also for many other tourists or professionals visiting the city. The rooms were fine, though more attention to details and focus are needed to ensure optimal and consistent lodging experience. I found the beds very comfortable and the sleeping experience was good except for the pillows, which I found way too high and stiff for comfort. The purified water tap in each room is a good and useful touch. The pool is nice and invites to spend a relaxed time in or nearby. In that area there are two washing/drying machines that can be used by guests by purchasing tokens from reception. The hotel accommodated a late check-out on my last day, which was helpful. They also offer a free storage of belonging/bags while you are away. Lastly, as a business customer, I was fully delighted with my communications, online and later in real-life, with Pauline See, who deals with corporate accounts. Pauline displayed a professional approach and, at the same time, was personally pleasant to interact with. In fact, of the three major hotels' corporate contact persons with whom I have dealt with in recent years, Pauline as the most competent.

Well placed hotel, close by to retail, hawker centres and MRT. Room a bit on the “tight” side but served our needs.

Friendly staffs from front desk to restaurants. Good locations. Nice lobby with friendliest bartender Thinzar attending to me. Never seen before a bartender walk out of her bar work area to beside you to take your order and attend to you. Such little attention to service says a lot. Overall nice facilities, pool, deck garden and gym.
