Paradox Singapore Merchant Court at Clarke Quay

Great hotel in a excellent location with many hotspots walkable. Nice breakfast and staff are all very attentive.

Lovely hotel, great location to MRT, shops etc. Only issue was 2 out of 4 elevators working. Pool is fabulous. Rooms are nicely appounted with filtered water tap, pool towels & ice water in reception. Would definately stay again. Very thoughtful birthday card & cake in our room for our daughters birthday.

A perfect spot for a few days stay in Singapore. Excellent location, clean spacious rooms, fabulous breakfasts and a chilled out bar area with great cocktails and light meals.

We stayed here for 6 nights in September. The hotel was busy. When we arrived one of the four lifts was out of action being refurbished. With only three lifts for a 12-floor busy hotel, this meant that there was some waiting time every single time we wanted to get to or from our room on the 8th floor. That said, our room was nicely decorated and comfortable and we did not get any noise from Clarke Quay which was literally on the doorstep. Breakfast in the mornings was also busy, but the staff worked like trojans to make sure there was no waiting time for a table, and the buffet selection was excellent. The great advantages of this hotel are location and location. It was right next door to an MRT station and there were plenty of eating options in the area, including the food court at the shopping centre across the road. Walking distance to the colonial district and harbour front, and only a couple of stops to Gardens by the Bay and MBS. The hotel pool was small and overcrowded - don’t stay here for the pool facilities. By our third day another lift had stopped working and the buttons to summon a lift were no longer lighting up. Two remaining lifts for such a huge hotel was not really acceptable and the problem should have been fixed. The best we could be offered was a trip in the service lift - hmm! Not what we expected.
