Paradox Singapore Merchant Court at Clarke Quay

My sister and I stayed for 5 nights at the Paradox in an executive room. We had a great stay and we were very impressed with the extra inclusions. We had access to the executive lounge on the 11th floor which had coffee, tea, cold drinks and a selection of biscuits available 24/7. We also could have a high tea each day from 12 to 4pm. You had a selection of hot items, sandwiches,scones and sweeties. We actually had it for lunch a couple of days. And then there was the happy hour which we thought would just be cheaper drinks but it was actually free - 2 types of red and white wine, bubbles, selected spirits,soft drinks and juices. And a great selection of hot and cold canapes, sandwiches and sweet items. Very impressed. But I think the best things about the Paradox is the location right near Clarke Quay MRT and the staff! Always friendly, helpful and welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble for them and the reception staff always said good morning when you were heading to breakfast. We will be definitely staying again. Highly recommend the Paradox.

After a traumatic start at a neighbouring hotel we checked into Paradox and instantly knew it was a great decision. I think the receptionist felt sorry for us because we ended up in a room overlooking the pool and Clarke Quay. The room was spacious, well air conditioned and well equipped with all the cosmetics (although the body lotion wasn’t replenished). Comfy pillows and beds. Despite the size of the hotel and the proximity to Clarke Quay it was very quiet in the room. We only used the pool and outside area once, a bit expensive to be honest. However it’s a lovely area with complimentary towels. Great base right on top of the Quay and excellent transport links. Honestly don’t think I would choose anywhere else. Only downside was the speed of the lifts. One was out of order so could take a hit of time to get up and down in busy periods.

Beautiful lobby and rooms have separation of room and tea making area, making it feel like an apartment. Pool is awesome but slightly small and popular eith kids on the slide. Bar is well stocked with okay proced bar snacks. Check in smooth and concierge was helpful. Walking distance to two mrt stations.

Lovely stay. Great connectivity for tourista MRT or the Bus. The staff (Murni and Sofia) was very helpful. Definitely recommend

Great central location with easy walking access to restaurants, eateries and quays. Marina Bay and Gardens by the bay walkable too. Hotel itself was very nice too. Helpful staff, awesome pool and great food. I’d highly recommend.
