Where do i begin...... First impressions were ok. Good bloke on the reception checked us in fast. Room was a decent size with good air con. No kettle or anything in room so have to rely on machines etc downstairs. The buffet was ok in the restaurant, if you not fussy then you will always find something to eat. Its not the hottest and some items tasted/looked like they could do with a little bit longer. The queues mentioned in many other reviews do happen, however if you are british, this is something we are used to. The pool does get very dirty from the dirt around it as they have set up sunbeds on them. Not the greatest. Didn't bother the kids though. Sunbed wars is most definitely a thing here. People queue up for an hour before it opens. It was quite entertaining to watch. Now for the worst part.... there was 2 fires whilst we were there. One at 1.30am and the other 2 days later at 7pm. It was an absolute sxxt show. No alarms for the first one at all. Apparently they didn't work! The second one, i cant even explain how poorly this was handled. I wouldnt return to this hotel, just purely because it's too far from anything. The fires were just a tad unlucky. Staff need to learn more than just French. (This is definitely more of a French hotel) us british just got in the way. The French guests had no manners and concept of time. Apart from that, if you get a cheap deal, it's worth a couple of days at most.
Food is brilliant, we loved the variety. The rooms are air conditioned which was also brilliant for our family. We are family of 4 and everyone had fun during our stay, fort we cant thank enough animation team! Big shout out to all of them, always friendly, with the smile on their face, making us participate in everything they do! There are lots of drink to pick from the pool bar, also during the evening. And sangria from animation team was amazing and funny!!! Laurie, Irina, Melissa,Laurie and Beyza - thank you very much for amazing holidays, we will definetely be back!
Our stay here was absolutely wonderful. The rooms were better than we expected and the food was top notch. Oscar, Irina and Beyza were so fun and made our stay incredible.
very good customer service, clean rooms and pool and fresh food and super quiet at night. would come again!
We made the best of our 2 weeks. Although we knew it was in a remote location, we booked mainly because of the fabulous trips we'd seen advertised. No trips from the hotel. You have to travel to other hotels to take the coach. Also, if you can, book well in advance as they get booked up quickly. Also, no free shuttle into Estepona unless you're part of the French Jumbo group. A decent selection of food (could be a better variation) but poor restautant hygeine on grill (using same utensils to cook raw and cooked meat) and no hand sanitiser available. All staff were lovely. Animation team certainly earn their money and the bat staff too. There was a fire on our penultimate night. 6 rooms away from our room. No fire alarm or organised evacuation. The people who did leave their rooms, I believe were awoken by the noise from the emergency services arriving on the main drive. We were on the other side so no alerts. Appalling. The hotel replied to my email, saying they followed all protocols. Tui also have said all fire procedures were followed. Taking my complaint to ABTA. I agree with other reviews who have said that it is certainly not a 4 star hotel. Taxis reasonably priced to Marbella, Puerto Banus and Estepona and well worth a visit.
