The hotel itself is very large and is set on a slight short hilly walk , great location to get to everywhere you need. The positives are , we had a great view from our room , which was clean and spacious. Food in the restaurant buffet was pretty good, a bit luke warm sometimes but lots of choice . Friendly staff .The big negative here is the other guests and a severe lack of consideration. The first few mornings we we woken by guests at 5am, which made us realise the walls are very thin, then several groups of schoolchildren around 150 (Spanish) arrived with their teachers and were put in rooms amongst the other guests unsupervised. This is when our holiday took a nosedive. We were kept wake til 3am by the four girls next to us who were running up and down the corridors , shouting screaming, banging doors and playing with the lift constantly. We contacted reception and informed them and nothing changed, I approached them myself at least four times politely asking them to be quiet to no avail, my husband went to reception in person and eventually they were quiet , we got 2 hours sleep and had to cancel our day trip . I made a complaint through our tui app and sorted out a new room with reception who really did try their best and did understand how upset we were ,that I can’t fault . We got more peace but those children were still playing up as we could hear them in the distance. Whoever thinks it’s a good idea to mix middle aged couples and retire people with unsupervised, badly behaved inconsiderate kids needs to understand it doesn’t work , the noise in the restaurant while trying to eat some night was overwhelming, to a point I couldn’t hold a conversation with my husband. It’s such a shame as otherwise this place would be nice , maybe we were unlucky but would never come back .

Very good services at the barans wetness

After arriving mid afternoon we chose to eat in the hotel restaurant as we were only bed and breakfast. The evening meal wasn't great, I know it's buffet type food so I wasn't expecting Michelin star but it wasn't worth the money. However, the breakfast was fantastic, lots of choices, fresh fruit and hot choices I couldn't fault the breakfast. On our first night the room Aircon wasn't working so I went to go get drinks from the vending machine as everyone was thirsty. When I got back to the room there were cockroaches running around our floor. I managed to catch one in a glass and then went to report it to reception. They moved us 2 doors down at midnight with 2 little kids. In our new room the air con still wasn't working even after reporting to reception. On the 2nd night cockroaches again and offered another room on the same floor, which we declined. We got given a room on floor 0 and the head of one of the beds was next to an internal waste pipe, so every time someone flushed the toilet that's all we could hear through the night. The key card slot would light up the room every ten minutes through out the night, you could remove the card but the you couldn't charge your phone etc. All in all a lovely location but I wouldn't return, the waiters and servers were lovely, management weren't interested in the slightest. I wouldn't return to this hotel.

Staff we're really good and polite. Room was very good superior family room with pool view. The only negative was the food it was barely warm.

We have been staying at the Bali for over 20 years and recently returned from a long stay. We had our usual lovely greeting upon arrival and were allocated a lovely room in block 2 as we requested . Our room was kept spotless and the housekeeping staff were always very nice and polite. We stayed half board as we always do but have to admit we were left very dissapointed - and I am sad that I have write this! Breakfast was absolutely fine with something for everyone, however what did sadden me and annoy me was the amount of people who were taking food out for their lunch - in effect stealing £££'s of food every morning instead of popping to a local shop or bar! I did mention it to the restaurant and they shrugged! It is costing you £1000's of euro each week! The salad bar at dinner was beautifully presented but the main course left a lot to be desired! The menu was on a weekly rotation which isn't good for people staying longer and in our last week we had the same menu on the Saturday and following Friday. I also have to agree with other reviewers that whilst the food is under lamps etc it simply isn't working- a lot of the food is only lukewarm. It would have also been nice to have had a little more Spanish food e.g Paella which we never had in our 3 week stay. I do have to say though that as always Francisco and his team were pleasant and helpful as always and the restaurant was spotless Overall.....dissapointing due to the lower standard of food and whilst I appreciate costs have risen I feel it could improve.
