H10 Estepona Palace

I would recommend this hotel to families with children who like an all-inclusive and don’t really care about the details. This hotel is shown much better on TripAdviser than it does in real life. I think that the pictures were taken when they just finished building the hotel. The nice and big swimming pool is very lovely but if you are doing something in the morning, then you will have a problem finding a chair by the swimming pool. You will probably have to wait in a queue. But the nice and big buffet is really amusing.

Estepona, Atmosphere was good Excellent Superior room, but the bathroom was tired and replacement needed. Value seemed a little expensive for what it is. Cleanliness excellent Noise level no problem Service, bars are excellent Room attendants superb Amenities , very good

Hotel actually looks like the photos, imposing entrance gives wow fact. Everywhere well maintained. Room was excellent size with outstanding view. Excellent housekeeping. Only downside getting into shower ,nice toiletries Stayed A I as did not know area, glad we did as away from bars and shops. Food was fine especially lunch, bonus branded drinks. Staff were great and hard working. Breakfast less relaxing, sometimes had to wait for replenish of food or crockery. Entertainment was good , Luis and Elena great asset. Bonus sun loungers on the beach, as we are beach people, but prefer a more sandy beach. About a mile to the harbour which was a bit tired, then another mile and quarter to old town which was lovely with all the flowers. So a pleasant walk. Lovely hotel and good holiday but because of location and beach regretfully would not return but would book another H10.

This is a very stylish hotel set in beautiful gardens but is it is in a residential area,it is too cut off. The nearest cafes and shops are about a half hour walk away. The entrance lobby,lounge is massive with some 600 seats, and a bar but the bar is closed until 5pm, to get a drink or coffee you have to descend some 50 or so steps, to thr pool bar, not ideal for 80 year olds, and that are the majority of saga guests at this time of the year. There if a lift down to the pool from the main lounge but it is busy as the restaurant is on the pool level. Food is good and varied and on all inclusive you have wine with lunch and dinner but, they only serve you half a glass.You can ask for a top up but have to catch the servers eye. Our bedroom was very small with only one drawer each to store our clothes. I feel that it was a single room with an extra bed squeezed in .The balcony was very overlooked so we never used it We asked for a walkin shower which was provided but the water had to run for at least 30 minutes before it was warm not hot, enough to use it Avoid room 262 There is a bus stop near to the hotel and you can use the bus into estapona but it is difficult to find the bus stop in town to get the bus back. In all, a stylish hotel with many problems that we and many on holiday at this time encountered. We and many of saga guests we talked to felt that those who had not booked PRIVILEGE were being treated as second class eventhough we where all inclusive

From arriving to departure the staff were excellent always had the answer to any question. The room was good with a view from the balcony of the pools and the sea. The self service restaurant had a large selection of dishes for every meal with seafood,fish, meat and vegetarian options. Breakfast had cooked and cold selections With excellent entertainment every night in the lounge bar, again very friendly bar staff. It was the first holiday I tried learning the language and our teacher Elena made it fun with pictures and simple sentences. Overall one of the best holidays I have ever taken
