Puente Real

This hotel is definitely not a 4 star. The place was filthy. To start the holiday off 9 out of 18 of our family group came down with D&V. This was at least one person out of every room. We had only ate in the hotel, later that day we witnessed a staff member behind the counter at dinner touch raw chicken with blue gloves on and then proceeded to touch cooked chicken with the same gloves on. They were cooking cheese toasties on the same gridle next to raw pork and raw bacon. If this is what they do when guests are there what on earth are they doing behind closed doors! The pool was mouldy and never looked clean with bits floating. This got worse as the week went on. No one was cleaning round there was constant plates with left over food and flies round the pool. Just absolutely disgusting. One particular morning my family met in reception for the beach at 11am where one of our family had a coffee in reception and left it on reception table. We then met later on at 7pm in reception to find the same coffee cup in the same place. Our room was not cleaned every day. We have a 6 month old baby and accidentally spilt baby milk on the floor. This was never cleaned up for 8 nights, just ignored. The lifts sometimes took 15 minutes to come and with a baby and a pram we couldn’t walk to level 3. Would not recommend. Staff were really rude round the pool bar and on the first night said that we could have 2 slices of pizzas between 18 of us! They refused to give us bottles of water and quite clearly spoke about us in Spanish to each other behind the bar which i thought was very rude. I went to reception for a spare key as i had left mine in the room all i was required to tell reception was my room number. They never asked my name D.O.B or anything i could have been anyone wanting to get into the room and they didn’t hesitate to just hand me a key.

Amazing !! 5 stars for food , staff , cleaning .entertainment was a 5+ out of all the hotels we have stayed at nothing comes close to this ,one night we had the Kenya acrobats what a show . Already looking at booking again this year , and we have never gone back to a hotel that we have stayed in before . Take a bow !!!! Great hotel and staff.
