TUI SUNEO Globales Cortijo Blanco

Excellent staff very helpful

Stayed here at the end of September. Booked through Tui as this hotel is also named a “Tui Suneo”…. This hotel is NOT up to the Tui Suneo standard. Hotel overall looks nice from the outside, so just walk past, do not bother staying here!! The rooms are out dated and damaged. When we checked in, the electricity in our room was not working. We called reception where a maintenance man hit the box repeatedly until the lights came on. The food is the worst part of this hotel. This is the first hotel I have ever struggled to eat at, and we’re not fussy eaters. The food is luke warm if you’re lucky. There is a microwave, however the food is that bad whether it’s heated or not, this makes no difference. There is no taste to anything, the meats are dry, and there are never any labels. Do not stay here if you have allergies!!! The soft drinks and cocktails are good. Coffee in the machine however is not. You cannot have a dairy free coffee without paying for it, which is hardly all inclusive. You have to pay at the bar for a coffee to be made with dairy free alternatives as the machines only have milk in them. Again, this is not a hotel for allergies. The cleanliness is questionable. The “cleaners” only make the bed, they do not clean. We had a fly infestation twice. We called maintenance again, to which a maid came and sprayed bug spray, and left. Leaving us to clean up all the dead flies off the floor. The next day, they were still in our shower and on the floor, which the cleaners had failed to clean! The majority of the staff are lovely. However one older male member of bar staff was horrible, very rude. Entertainment was great and all the staff are so hard working. Pool was lovely, lifeguard is a lovely man and friendly. Sun over the pool all day. Location - around 10 min walk to San Pedro and 30 min walk to Puerto Banus. Bus stop outside hotel where the no 13 and 79 will take you to Marbella one way for 1.50€ and takes around 10 minutes. Not much else around, there’s a couple of shops to get basics but not atmosphere around. It’s a very noisy hotel, where you either get noise from the hotel itself, the roads surrounding or the hotel next door. Walls also very thin so can hear everything going on. Whilst this is a “cheaper” hotel, it lacks the basics expected. The food is horrible, the only thing edible was chips and pizza. Children would struggle to eat here. The rooms are also filthy and damaged all over. This is NOT a TUI hotel that’s for sure.

This was my third time here and I bought one of my friends with me who absolutely loved it once again it was a great holiday the food was fabulous and accommodation was excellent as it always is I have booked again for next year but this time for ten days I loved this hotel and nothing else matches up to this hotel the staff are amazing and can’t do enough for you so see you again next year

Check in was fast and our room was ready room 1055 when we got to it the room was fine with a fridge coffee making facilities and a good power shower only downside was the veranda faced a brick wall but we were happy enough . just a quick review FOOD very good with plenty of variation always got a table . DRINKS local brands sampled the gin, triple sec , brandy and beer san miguel all good and the bar staff work diligently to keep the flow going POOL plenty of sunbeds and parasols and it's kept spotless i don't usually pick out one member of staff but ( ismael )the life guard goes above and beyond helping move parasols etc and he was quick to hand when a guy took a bad turn near the pool checking him over then getting a wheel chair to take him to his room to await assistance ENTERTAINMENT the on site team do a tremendous job with the usual games during the day and they put on a greatest entertainers show one night which was excellent there were also a few professional acts as well . If you like a game of bingo 2eruo a card and depending on the crowd a single line was 55euro and a full house 265 euro not to shabby . The only negative was the noise from the adjacent building site it doesn't affect the entire hotel just the right hand side rear quarter of the complex its so loud you can't sit on the veranda it looks like it's been going on since the beginning of the year as they are at second floor level now we only booked one week before so TUI must have known about it and could have given us the heads up .. we put up with it for the first day then we decided we would ask for a room change the next morning the work stopped for the next 2 days it was perfect as we were in holiday mode we forgot it was the weekend and it all started again on the monday as we only had 3 days left by that point we decided to stay in the room rather than pack again so we just left the room at breakfast and returned in the evening when works stopped That said I would return as every thing else was very good would have been 5 stars if not for the noise

The hotel was great. Food could be repetitive at times but have to say always plenty to choose from. Food was good and enjoyed our meals there. The room was spacious and even had a kettle in room which when been abroad before they haven't so that was a bonus for us. Supermarket in walking distance 5 mins away. Fridge in room so you could stock up with milk, drinks etc. Antonio bar staff what an asset to the hotel, he was friendly, always happy and ensuring everyone he attends to have what they need. He should be promoted. Was a breath of fresh air and a couple of the other bar staff could learn from him in customer service. He made our evenings enjoyable as made you smile every time you saw him. The staff work very hard and was clear to see. The animation team were great too always trying to engage everyone in the hotel activities. This was adults and children. I loved the lay out as was like a little village on the complex. Sunbeds were an issue first few days as people were leaving towels out the night before and would be left empty all day which is selfish to others on site. After this we managed to find sunbeds after breakfast. Entertainment at night was good. Bingo on every night and then shows put on. Magic trick though disappointing as not anything not seen before. Reception and restaurant staff very friendly and helpful. Just a shame that not a lot nearby when you leave the complex. Beach is ten mins walk and we found sun loungers to rent at 7.50 euros each. The beach is nice and plenty of restaurants around. They had a market on daily selling different things. Thank you for making our holiday a good one.
