The only nice person among the hotel staff was the lady helping at breakfast. The rest of the staff was simply a disaster, including the manager. Everything addressed to the reception and the manager was ignored. The maintenance man was extremely rude – he insulted one of the guests under his breath, calling him “puta” while pointing toward his balcony. The hotel had just reopened after the season on April 1st, and we were the first guests in the room after the winter. The temperature in the room was around 17°C, and the air conditioning didn’t work. During our entire stay, no one came to fix it, even though we were repeatedly promised that someone would. The kitchenette equipment was terrible – there was nothing to wash dishes with, no cutting board or kitchen knife, no kettle, no coffee machine, no bowls. There were only two wine glasses in an apartment for four people, and the same with regular glasses. There is no parking. It’s not easy to find a spot on the street, and I can’t imagine what it’s like during peak season. And this is supposed to be a 4-star hotel? It’s a complete disaster. Avoid it at all costs.
This is a complex hotel to summarise! The staff are wonderful, helpful and friendly. Our 1 bedroom sea view apartment had a stunning view from the third floor. It was clean and the bed was very comfortable, we could see the sea view whilst sitting in bed! The sofa was very worn. The fridge was ridiculously small. We knew there was no car park but finding parking especially at the weekend was exceptionally difficult. At the weekend the locals visit the beach and parking is virtually impossible, most concerning is watching how they park as many were very happy to bump their cars up to others to nudge their way in! The swimming pool area is very depressing! The sunbeds are worn and damaged. The main pool is so deep! At 165cms tall I could only touch the bottom by standing right up to the child’s pool wall. We also noticed that although chemicals are added to the pool each day, no one cleaned it! The pool had many leaves in it. Very few people used it. As many others have said, there is a distinct lack of anywhere to go in the area. One restaurant across the road. A coffee shop in a neighbouring hotel. The restaurant terrace at the hotel was unappealing and was hardly used except for breakfast. This meant that you always had to travel to find sandy beaches, places to walk in the evenings and for a choice of restaurants. The hotel is dog friendly which is why we chose it, this is brilliant but it’s not enough to make us want to return.
All the staff are amazing very helpful friendly also the bar staff lady mari was so lovely look after us well can’t do enough for you
Nice for Family good price in relations to qualiy, nice terrace and People.
The hotel is acceptable for a short stay, but in my opinion it does not offer a standard that justifies a higher rating. We booked two rooms: a standard double room and a superior twin room. The superior twin was spacious and featured a large corner balcony, which was very pleasant. The double room was smaller but also had a nice balcony. Unfortunately, comfort was disappointing. The spring mattresses were basic and uncomfortable, and I struggled to get a good night's sleep. The air conditioning was noisy and difficult to adjust properly. The shower leaked badly, leaving water everywhere in the bathroom, and some of the furniture was visibly worn, including a damaged armchair. Overall, the rooms felt neglected and lacked character. The décor was very basic and impersonal, giving the impression that little attention is paid to maintenance and presentation. The standard double room, in particular, deserves no more than a two-star rating. On the positive side, the location is convenient, just 100 metres from the beach and a five-minute walk from the harbour, making it easy to catch a boat. Guests also receive a 10% discount at the nearby restaurant. There is a large swimming pool available, although no pool towels are provided. Finally, the staff were friendly, welcoming, and always pleasant to deal with. In summary, a well-located hotel with a warm and helpful team, but comfort, maintenance, and overall room quality need significant improvement.
