Alua Boccaccio

We stayed here, in September and booked our holiday through jet2. This hotel was advertised as all-inclusive boasting 5bars, on arrival we was told by the reception that the lobby bar was not included in the all-inclusive, and if we wanted anything from there we had to pay for it. There is also a ice cream and coffee bar at the side of the lobby bar, and also found out you had to pay if you wanted anything from there, so this in theory the hotel has only 3 all-inclusive bars, not 5. We also had a very rude young girl take our drinks off us, that we brought out from inside, and made a big scene, out of it, and embarrassed us in front of other guests, she told us we can't bring drinks from inside, she could of done this discretely as we did not know, we could not do this, she also forgot we had payed for these drinks and should not of taken them away, She needs a talking to by the hotel owner, as we wont be returning. The beech bar is not a little walk either its quite far, from the hotel, so this is a negative. If you was watching the entertainment on the evening, the inside bar, was also a bad experience, with long queues all of the time, we counted 17 people at one point waiting to be served, to get a drink, as there was only one bar staff, and one glass collecter, this bar needs two bar stall all the time. The pool bar was ok but same again you had to queue, if you wanted a drink. The Hotel food was good, we enjoyed, with a good selection of food. Rooms are very small, with a tiny wardrobe not big enough for two people. Would we stay again, probably not, as it needs members of staff to be happy with smiling faces, and be more helpful instead of been very rude, its not acceptable when you are paying a lot of money for an all-inclusive holiday, you have been working hard for your long waited holiday very disappointing overall.

This hotel’s location is absolutely perfect. Everything you could possibly need is right at your doorstep, with plenty of shops offering essentials, treats, and lovely souvenirs. The atmosphere is exactly what you’d hope for on holiday - relaxed, cheerful, and welcoming. The staff truly make this place special. Aina on the front desk has been incredibly helpful, answering our questions with patience and giving us fantastic recommendations. Paco in the restaurant engages with every table and brings such a friendly, efficient energy. Antonio 🫣 seems to be everywhere at once, working hard and always in great spirits. And the chefs — honestly, some of the happiest and most well-presented chefs we’ve ever seen. The rooms are impeccably clean, well serviced throughout our stay, and while they’re not overly spacious, there is still plenty of room to be comfortable. The housekeeping team are just as polite and friendly as the front‑of‑house staff, which makes the whole experience feel consistently warm and well cared for. Davide and Khadija, who run the daytime entertainment, are brilliant. Khadija is all smiles and genuinely lovely, and Davide brings humour and great energy that gets everyone involved. The evening entertainment has been varied and impressive, with some fabulous shows during our week here. If you’re competitive and take part in game night - sit at the front! It’s more of a race to the stage than a test of knowledge. The pool area is lovely, with activities throughout the afternoon and plenty of sunbeds available whenever you need one. The beach bar (Boccaccio is the only hotel with its own AI beach bar) is a fantastic bonus. It’s behind Players Bar, and you do need to walk through their seating area to reach it, but once you’re there the selection of drinks, cocktails, and snacks is excellent.

Fantastic location and would really have to be picky to complain about this place as it has everything you need for a pleasant holiday. Staff are friendly and helpful. Always plenty to choose from at the bar and buffet evening entertainment was some of the best I've seen on a all-inclusive. Definitely best for couples and small groups

A wonderful first holiday in Mallorca! We just returned from our first holiday in Mallorca, where we stayed at the Hotel Alua Boccaccio from September 6th to 18th, and honestly, we had a wonderful time. It's a place we'd definitely love to return to! From the moment we arrived, everything seemed friendly and well-organized. The reception staff were friendly, helpful, and always willing to help, making us feel very comfortable throughout our stay. The food was another great asset. There was a wide selection of dishes from around the world, and everything we tried was delicious. The desserts and cakes were also very tasty. The pool may not be the largest compared to other hotels, but for our September stay, it was more than adequate, and we never had any problems. The hotel had a lovely, relaxing atmosphere that allowed us to enjoy a peaceful holiday. The location is fantastic! Just cross the street and walk a short distance to the beautiful beach. The sea was absolutely stunning, with beautiful, clear colors, and the beach has a very long, shallow entrance, which we thought was fantastic and especially suitable for families with children. The restaurant staff were also very friendly and attentive, and we truly appreciated their hard work throughout our stay. Our only minor gripe was the pool towel change; towels are changed on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, not daily. Other than this minor detail, we truly have no complaints about our stay. This was our first holiday in Mallorca, but it certainly won't be our last. We left feeling relaxed, happy, and with wonderful memories. Alua Boccaccio is definitely one of those places you want to return to. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a wonderful, relaxing holiday in Mallorca.
