AluaSun Continental Park

We had a generally acceptable stay at AluaSun Continental Park. The hotel's strongest points are its location, overall appearance, and food variety. Location: 5/5 The hotel is very well located, within walking distance of Playa de Muro beach and close to local amenities. Atmosphere: 4/5 Pleasant holiday atmosphere with well-maintained outdoor areas and a family-oriented environment. Rooms: 3/5 Rooms are functional and nice. The bathrooms, would benefit from renovation. Value: 3/5 The location and facilities provide reasonable value, but several quality issues reduce the overall experience. Cleanliness: 2/5 Cleanliness standards were inconsistent. Carpets in common areas often appeared to need vacuuming, and housekeeping attention to detail was poor. On one occasion, the bathroom mirror was left in worse condition after room cleaning than before. Noise Level: 5/5 Noise levels were generally acceptable and did not significantly affect the stay. Service: 3/5 Staff were generally professional, but the overall level of maintenance and housekeeping control left room for improvement. People very formal, without smile, avoiding any kind of communication. Amenities: 5/5 Good pool area, entertainment options, and a wide selection of food. Overall Review The hotel benefits from an excellent location, attractive grounds, and a broad range of food options. However, cleanliness was below expectations, the bathrooms are showing their age, and the quality of some food items was questionable. Despite the extensive selection, some dishes did not appear fresh and unfortunately led to significant stomach problems during our stay. While the hotel has several positive aspects, better housekeeping standards and stricter food quality control are needed. Based on our experience, we would be hesitant to return.

We have just returned from the AluaSun Continental Park. Starting with the negatives: There were no Superior rooms available when we arrived, notwithstanding that is what we paid for. A Superior room became available the following day, but with much inconvenience in moving rooms and a wasted day of our holiday. We are waiting for compensation from Jet2 holidays and the hotel gave us a complimentary bottle of Cava. The Superior room we were allocated had a flimsy wooden and ill fitting interconnecting door to the next door room. Fantastic for a family group, but sadly our "neighbours" were very vocal sexually. Very embarrassing for them and little sleep for us. Avoid rooms 111 and 115 unless you are a family using both rooms or you don't object to listening to other peoples sexual activities! We were half board so paid for our drinks at the bar in the evening. The measures of wine were, in our opinion, very mean. On to the positives: The hotel location was great for getting on public transport to see the island or heading off to the beach. The hotel, pool area and our room / terrace were all spotlessly clean. There were plenty of sun beds and parasols.  The employees were friendly. The food served at breakfast and in the evening was well cooked, varied and plentiful. There were options for all tastes. It was also great that our half board plus entitled us to wine during our dinner.  Would we recommend this hotel? Only if the hotel guaranteed us a room with no interconnecting door.

Great hotel for a chilled relaxing holiday. Clean and tidy place, no fights for sunbeds. Helpful staff. Ideal location too. TUI transfers were rubbish but sorted quickly (they were obviously used to there being problems!). Our hotel floor stank of smoke.

Booked a short break away for our wedding anniversary and this was our first time in Majorca. Hotel was smaller than expected but perfect in every other detail; level of cleanliness, food and pool area, not to mention the patient and friendly staff. Hotel has a lovely atmosphere, and considering we stayed late summer it was relatively busy but lots of space to chill around the pool and enjoy the restaurant. Great location for beach (which is superb!), additional restaurants and shops. Amazing options for trips out too. Which reception staff can help with organising. Loved it so much we are thinking of a return short break next year at the same time!
