Aparthotel Alcudia Garden & Palm

We stayed here for one week on a bed and breakfast basis as a family of four. The hotel setting is lovely, a three storey low rise quadrangle with the swimming pool and entertainment area at the centre. They look after the trees and shrubs very well and this makes the hotel feel attractive. We had a pool-facing room with a small private garden attached, which was very pleasant. There is a separate part to the hotel, across a small side street, this is more high rise with 5 or 6 floors and a very small pool area, it did not seem so attractive to us. The room was a good size, with a comfortable twin/double bed, a comfortable double sofa bed in the lounge room, and still lots of space for wardrobes and small kitchen area etc. The bathroom was also a good size and the shower was excellent. The kitchen has two hobs and a microwave with some basic crockery/cutlery and cooking utensils provided. We did self-cater a couple of times, which was fine, with a nice dining table and chairs on a small balcony for alfresco dining in your room. You can hear a bit of noise from the corridor and adjacent rooms, but it didn't bother us too much, also the light in the corridor is left on all night and it does come under the door a bit. The staff will clean your room and change towels as often as you want. The hotel entertainment seemed to be mostly aimed at small children, ours are teenagers so we didn't get involved with this. The main swimming pool is unheated and it was a bit cold but we still used it a lot, one point for feedback to the hotel is to try to clean the pool a bit more frequently, there was debris building up in it. There was also a small indoor heated pool that we did not use. The hotel breakfast was excellent, with plenty of choice of hot and cold foods, though it does finish at 10am sharp, which seems a little early for teenagers. There is a small bar area and lots of day trip activities that you can book at reception, you can also hire bicycles at the hotel for a very reasonable rate of 13 euros per day. The location of the hotel was ideal for us. In one direction it is a 5 minutes walk to the beach, another 5 mins walk takes you in to the bar/restaurant strip of Port D'Alcudia. In the other direction it is a 15 minutes walk to the old citadel/walled town of Alcudia with lots of historic sights, restaurants and bars - a very attractive and atmospheric old town area. There are also numerous other shops, bars and supermarkets within a 5-10 minutes walk of the hotel.

This was already our second stay at this hotel with our children, and once again it was a wonderful experience. We originally chose the hotel because of its great reviews and fantastic location in Port de Alcúdia, just a short walk from the beautiful beach. For our family, however, the most important factor was the hotel’s commitment to guests with coeliac disease. Our son has coeliac disease, and we wanted him to feel safe, comfortable, and free to enjoy his meals like every other child. From the very first day, Carly López took exceptional care of us. He carefully explained which dishes were gluten-free, offered special meals prepared on request, and even arranged desserts especially for our son. What impressed us most was the awareness and understanding of coeliac disease shown by both Carly and the hotel staff, including their attention to avoiding cross-contamination. Thanks to people like Carly — who even remembered our son after two years — our family could truly relax and enjoy a carefree holiday again. The hotel is very family-friendly, with great pools surrounded by gardens, plenty of entertainment, animations, and evening shows for children. But above all, what mattered most to us was our son’s safety and happiness during meals, and the staff made that possible every single day. Thank you again for such a memorable stay — we will definitely come back!

Location superb. Generous sized rooms and comfortable beds with clean sheets. Sofa and furniture definitely tired but that didn’t matter. Staff very helpful and polite and accommodating. Thank you 🙏

The hotel is quite old and some of the electrical outlets were damaged. However, the location of the hotel is very good. There was no kettle in the room, which surprised me. The room was cleaned, but the drinking glasses were not replaced. My husband and I paid for the all-inclusive package, but I do not drink alcohol. I ordered a non-alcoholic mojito, but the bar staff said they could not make it, which I found very strange. There were smoothies available, but they were not included in the package, so I had to pay extra. The food selection was varied, but everything lacked flavor. Coffee was only available during breakfast,There was also no bottled water provided — only water dispensers, and I felt the water smelled like chlorine. In the end, I had to eat outside the hotel every day because the hotel food had no taste. Overall, this caused me to spend much more money than expected.

This was my second time at this hotel. Perfect location close to the beach, Alcudia Port, restaurants and shops. The food in the restaurant is lovely and staff are always ready to help. Nice small resort.
