Aparthotel Marins Playa

Loved it! Beautiful hotel in a good location. Staff very friendly and helpful. The pool area was lovely with enough loungers. All areas were spotlessly clean. This was an adults only part of the complex and you could cross the road to the other hotel. Our room was huge with good facilities. I think all rooms had a balcony looking out to sea. Breakfast had all you needed and it was lovely to sit outside as there were plenty of tables.

The breakfasts were standard but quite tasty, and dinners offered a wide variety of options, especially meat dishes. There are plenty of attractions, pools, kids’ pools, and animations – mainly for children but also for adults. A small rooftop bar with a jacuzzi and a nice view was a pleasant surprise. Our basic room was very spacious, with a large balcony and beautiful views of the surrounding mountains and palm trees. The staff were very friendly, professional, and the cleaning service was excellent. The location is great too – close to the beach and promenade, and there’s even a supermarket inside the hotel. On the downside, the hotel has a lot of children, which may be a disadvantage for someone who wants a quiet holiday and spends most of the time on-site. Also, only one lift was working during our stay, so waiting times were sometimes long, especially with many families and strollers. Another small drawback was that drinks (including water) at dinner were not included and had to be paid separately.

Not what I booked! I went 3 weeks ago with my son and his family. They booked a 2 bed apartment and I booked a pool view in the hotel. I did not get a room in the hotel but was told my hotel room was in the building next door. My hotel room turned out to be an apartment…the most basic ‘hotel room’ I have ever stayed in…the floor was lifting around fridge, which had obviously been caused by a leak. There was a kettle and cups but no tea, coffee like you would expect to get in any 4 Star hotel! So disappointed with the 4 star standard of my ‘room’. The laundry service was very good with clean towels left most days….even though I hung my towels up so they would not be changed! The dining area was

Clean, superb room, spacious and had many facilities (cooker, fridge, hair dryer, 2 tvs). Luxurious hotel with 2 swimming pools, jacuzzis, rooftop bar with great view, spa as well. Entertainment on a good level, there was evening event organised for kids.
