Blau Punta Reina

Rooms were very clean and spacious. We had a gorgeous sea view! All the staff were very friendly and attentive. The resort is huge and a short bus trip or road train to caves of drach and Porto cristo. I was travelling myself with 2 kids and found the public bus easy to use and the road train is always a bit of fun. Beaches were beautiful clean and short walk, although it is uneven surface. I believe there is shuttle busses from hotel but we never needed them. The pools were great to and plenty of sun Loungers. The splash parks and slides were great fun to. We loved the whole experience so much we are looking at going back next year.

We arrived late at night with our 2 children. We booked the junior suite with sea view. Upon arrival the information regarding the tasks you need to perform whilst staying at this place was astonishing. Baring in mind we booked an all inclusive holiday, there was nothing in the room that resembled a drink or facilities to even make your own. NO WATER, NO TEA, and No COFFEE. There was a fridge, for what I ask??? As you are barred from taking any food or any drink from any of the restaurants. They did however have a microwave 🤣 so that you can warm up all the food and drink you are not permitted to take out of the restaurants. I can only imagine that the microwave was there to encourage you to go to the local spar which is a 15 minute walk away to buy a microwaveable burger so that you don’t eat any of the all inclusive food that you have already paid for. That’s hour 1 covered. Come the morning we headed to the pool only to find that there were no towels available. I asked the lifeguard who like many of the staff here only speak Spanish or German, where can I get towels? He pointed towards reception who pointed me towards the spa and wellness centre who pointed me towards the cash machine. 80 euros deposit for 4 towels, CASH ONLY!!! So I headed back to find a cash machine. If you want to change your towels daily it will cost an extra 8 euros a day which is none refundable. We then thought it might be nice to put these lovely all inclusive wrist bands to use 🤣 and get some drinks, NOT SO FAST family. You must go back to reception (this is a big hotel spread across many acres) and BUY TOKENS IN ORDER TO BE ABLE TO GET DRINKS!!!!!!! This is like being at work ! They have designed this hotel so that you do all the work and you cover all the costs so that they don’t need too, in addition they don’t need to employ as many staff as you are doing all the running round, taking towels back taking cups back to get your tokens back to get your cups back to get your tokens back. Don’t worry though they will give you your 80 euros back for your towels when you leave for the plane, so plenty of time to drown your sorrows in the airport bar with the currency we don’t use in ENGLAND. It’s a great business 2 business model however this is about providing holidays and peace to your customers NOT WORK Unlike Arnold swarzchnigger We will not be back Marcus McGee S414

Stayed here for a week with my family and young grandson had a fabulous time rooms,food and entertainment were all excellent the only thing I could recommend to improve is bottled water for the rooms

We as a family with 3 kids have been visiting this hotel for 9 years and being honest from the arrival to the departure we always have a fantastic time. The entertainment is first class and the kids clubs are outstanding. There is adult activities for those that wish to be more sporty. We would like to thank Pepe, Fernanda, Alejandro and Zdenka specifically for their commitment. We look forward to next year's holiday, which is already booked.

We are currently here for the 8th time. This alone should say enough. The rooms are all nicely new renovated, the staff in every corner is so nice and friendly. The animation team still unbeaten. From Pepè, the voice of Punta Reina, to Fernanda, Nacho, Nina... The kids love it. Alejandro at the gym sorted the husbands back problem, Zdenka keeps me in shape. The location is as beautiful as ever with the stunning views. At the buffet is fresh prepared food for everyone and also always friendly staff even when it is super busy.
