Blau Punta Reina

We visited during the school October week. I wouldn't recommend. The buffet food was bland and despite not being a fussy eater, we struggled to find things to eat sometimes. Staff were very slow during service and the egg station often has an enormous queue (at least 10 people) making it inaccessible. The pool bar was swarming with wasps and made it really unpleasant when having to go get drinks. The pools themselves were very cold, though I appreciate the rain and cooler temps in October probably exacerbated this. The worst part though was the spa and the attitude of the male member of staff that worked there. I went in to book time at the spa during one of the downpours and he started on his clearly rehearsed script about hours the spa is open, when children are permitted in and then started to explain how we could rent towels. At this point more people came in from the rain who they clearly knew from previous usage, and he began talking over my head to them. A bit rude but whatever, the main point being he had obviously been interrupted in his speech which meant he didn't finish explaining the towel situation on how you would get your deposit back. When I used the saunas before a spa treatment it was average, the child free areas weren't properly enforced and children were regularly opening sauna doors which meant they didn't stay at temp. Overall that part was a bit of a let down. On our final day my husband took the towels back only to be told that we wouldn't get the deposit back without the receipt. We could say the date, time etc when we rented them but he was quite rude to my husband who had our autistic child with him at the time. I managed to find the receipt and went back to the spa to speak with him, as this wasn't something that he had told me when he had been interupted, taking my older son (8) with me. When I mentioned to him he hadn't told me that, he became defensive and started raising his voice that he says the same thing to every person and I wasn't special so he wouldn't have not said it. I told him he was being rude, and I got "I'm sorry you didn't understand" I replied that wasn't an apology and he didn't tell me that, in any event I had my receipt and wanted my money back. He persisted that "I'm sorry if you didn't listen and I'm sorry you didn't hear me". I said again, that's not an apology, you're still trying to blame me, give me my money back. He then started shouting at me that I was a silly silly woman and threw the money at me. I said to him that he was rude and unprofessional and that it was a shocking way to behave. He continued shouting at me in front of my son saying I was a stupid woman and a disgrace for having this conversation in front of my son. It was him that escalated it, it was him that shouted at me. Months later my son still talks of the rude man who shouted at me! Such a shame as the view from our room was amazing. Everything else let it down.

I’ve stayed at this hotel for 5 years on the run we go every year! The hotel itself is very clean, cleaners work all day to keep it in tip top condition! The food is very nice they cater for everyone and different choices each day. The pools are amazing and the slides are great for kids. The evening entertainment is the best I’ve been to at any all inclusive hotel. All the reps are really kind and helpful there’s always activities going on weather that’s darts round the pool, archery, rifle shooting but there’s always activities and Pepe is the icing on the cake! Knows how to entertain and keep everyone happy. Will be back no doubt about that.

All around a brilliant family holiday. The animations team have made my kids experience brilliant. Special mention to Rachel, Pepe, Annas and Jules

Me my mum, and her boyfriend went to the blau paunta reina hotel in majorca. We went there for a family holiday together. It was a overall nice hotel but did have a couple of complications. Here are some of the good things: .The food was really nice . Most of the staff were very friendly . The pools were lovely . There were lots of activities to take part in Here are some of the complications: . There was a woman working at the spa who didn't have very good customer service . When we arrived the reception didn't mention that we had to have tokens to go to the pool bar to get a drink even though we were all inclusive . We were given plastic cups with the tokens that we had to buy with a few euros so we were constantly carrying cups around everywhere. . We went to book a treatment at the spa for the family pack but when we arrived staff said it wasn't really suitable for adults . When we went to get towels we realised we had to put a 20 euro deposit per towel. I would rate this hotel a 3.5 stars hotel due to the complications

Amazing services by the spa. Ioana, Kaketerina and Claudia are amazing. In general all the staffs are so friendly and welcoming. I would definitely recommend and can’t wait to go back. Feeling like brand new.
